Mercedes Update for September 2022: -The Counter build is the most popular one for Guild War and Arena defenses at this point. You can now also play Mercedes on Counter Set using the same stats as the first build but with 185 Speed. That Counter style is how I currently play her in World Arena and Guild War Defense.
As a frequent Merc picker, Roana is another huge counter to her. Roana's passive can practically heal all the damage you've done from the S2 double proc.
Haven't touched E7 in a long time so i'm not sure how i got here but this makes me wanna play again just because i miss the game. plus seeing a character that was absolutely dog water jump up to being very viable in pvp is great
That's the best part of E7 lately: Bad heroes get buffs, even the more F2P options. It's a refreshing thing after playing Genshin. Playing Lisa was like pulling teeth and it just appeared that the y never intended to buff her or fix problems. It killed my enjoyment for sure. Playing a game where the Devs balance even low level units always feels great.

I use Counter Mercedes. I don't think full degen is the key, you want her on Speed boots so you aren't absolutely lapped by everything, 160 or so helps immensely (especially with her Counter S1 push). An exotic set that really surprised me was INJURY Mercedes. Took me off guard in a Guild War and I kinda wanna try it myself. But I don't have the gear to test :(
You say she's a good counter to AoE / cleavers on her degen build, esp. if people don't have other options avaiable. What other units fill the same role? Rem, Belian..?
Rem, Belian, Arby to a lesser extent. AoE counters are rare, as they should be from a design stand point. What I mean is that there are certain heroes that clean up vs cleave depending on their units. A hero like Senya is well equipped to 1 v 4 some lineups. If you don't have that specific hero, you can use Mercedes as a YOLO pick and if RNG is on your side, you win for free.
Honestly... yeah probably. I use Celestial Mercedes to make a 1 Shot team for A13. Mercedes is kind of the same thing, just better. If you're not going for a 1 shot, usually you use a hero like Vildred or Arbiter Vildred and Mercedes is basically Arbiter Vildred right now. So either way... I think she's probably really good. I'd use the Speed set in the video to start. My Celestial Mercedes stats if you wanna copy it: 4400 Attack, 290 Crit Damage, 150 Speed. Attack set.

Yes. She's a better use of your imprints than Celestial Mercedes.

@@sinthorias That's exactly why I mentioned it. Mercedes is a f2p Cleave counter when most cleave counters are luxury units or require insane gear.
