I think this is worth mentioning and someone also asked about it below. Guild Wars Setup Aria - roughly your LS build, but personally I run Proof of Valor with no speed Christy - tanky, Bastion of Hope, 250 ER before artifact (340 ER after artifact + Shimadras) Destina - tanky, but with some speed (200-220), Shimadras, 200 ER before artifact (240 ER after artifact + Bastion) Set up your formation so Christy gives ER to Aria and the full team gives Aria close to or over 300 ER. You generally use Destina S2 to push up Aria's first turn so you can get things rolling with S3.
Honestly- one of my favorite characters and it is amazing to learn in depth how to be measurable with my goals and expectations with Aria. Thank you for your Job and work in this Tsu!
I absolutely love your channel your break downs of characters like this and your analytic plus patch interpretations is so solid it may as well be steel or the cow in the room aria does on people lol. I don't know if you'll ever see this and I don't know how else to put in a request but is there anyway you can do this in depth guide for lone crescent ballona ^-^
Hello Tsu, i'm glad that you're doing better now, wasn't even aware you were going through health issues. By any chance would you be willing to cover Ambitious Tywin? I've recently gotten him from the banner and have been relatively stumped in the ideal direction to take him. Whether it's as a utility dps bruiser or as an aurius knight. Not sure what the ideal stats are to aim for and what not. Also regarding the knights, with the most recent balance preview with more potential aurius knights (like with his rgb counterpart) it makes me question if it's just better to run him in a more dps oriented unit. Overall it'd be a major help to see your perspective on him.
I think you are under valuing Abyssal Crown, she has a hit 2 S1 and an AoE S2, can really disrupt them when they are forced to hit into you and you counter
What about counter Aria? She could build up the S2 skill though she could be slow through counters and maybe attack before her actual turn? Whatcha think?
How about pairing her with Christy? Since Christy's passive makes her back row ally have 50% of her effres so having a 200 res Christy will give another 100 to aria
And with what type of charactersshould I play her. Since she protects them, it would seem squishy ones are good. But then they really cant survive until she does her S3. So, even while protecting the others, we need to use tanky chars in a team with her?
Aria is very much a "When the Stars Align" style character. You need to have a good understanding of how the first rotation of a battle is going to play out. If you can't see a path where you can get Aria to S3 before people die, it might not be a good time to pick her (unless she can solo a whole team). Usually you want to pair her with Soul Weavers/Tanks and 1 hard carry that if they can't access they die. That's where she really shines. You can pick her with faster/squishier characters though. That's the whole point of the Speed build. You play fast squishies and she brings up the rear against a slower team. That way she protects them. Again, you need to have a firm grasp of turn order and what the pit falls could be when selecting her. She's arguably amongst the most difficult heroes to gear and play effectively.
@@im_TsuOld comment, I know, but I'm curious what the reasoning for this assertion is. My experience with her has been the exact opposite. I returned to E7 around Thanksgiving after a several year hiatus and Aria was one of many 5 stars I pulled with the returnee bonuses. After being drawn in by her design I realized she sounded like a lot of fun to play, so I started trying to build her with all the free gear I was getting. Comparing her to the speed build you suggested, she ended up on a speed set, a broken 2 set, with significantly less HP, speed, crit damage, and effect resistance than is recommended, but she absolutely shredded her way through the entirety of Episode 4 and all of Episode 5 that's currently out. She got even crazier once I opened her side story to get SoS. Now she usually leaves a plague of random debuffs on anything that lives, on top of dispelling buffs and knocking back their combat readiness
I was thinking in give her the same stats as Karina and just do raw damage with a high def using fairy tail artifact and hitting one crit here and there with the base %(if only one rocket puck kinda artifact existed for mages 🥲). But I'm kinda new and I can't afford to spend the resources and gear to do the test
As a correction: I think Dark Shadow Phantom actually decreases enemy Combat Readiness instead of increasing Aria's own Combat Readiness
I think this is worth mentioning and someone also asked about it below.

Thank you for the MASSIVE educational information on how to build her Tsu! 😆

Omg.. She has huge...... gear requirements.
I found Aria and TCrozet works wonders together for standard players 😁
Yep it's been my gw defense for a while now, followed by Celine cause I want em scared.

Very good vid sir
1:52 good man.
Hey Tsu, great video! I was wondering if lifesteal/immun set would work on her?
If it doesn't impact your stats too much, go for it!
Just curious, if we have a slow Aria, would she still work? Like 130 speed, or that would be too slow to be viable?
How dose set 1 work with such low speed ?

The problem is Mages are usually made of paper. You won't live very long without Speed or Lifesteal.
@@im_Tsu damn. Ok. Thanks for saving me the trouble. Lifesteal it is
How about pairing her with Christy? Since Christy's passive makes her back row ally have 50% of her effres so having a 200 res Christy will give another 100 to aria
I think this is a good idea actually. My issue is Christy is a 3 star which means not the best stats :(
And with what type of charactersshould I play her. Since she protects them, it would seem squishy ones are good. But then they really cant survive until she does her S3. So, even while protecting the others, we need to use tanky chars in a team with her?

Do Handguy next please. His getting a banner soon and I'm getting him by then so that I don't get Handguy diff in RTA.
Already ahead of you: th-cam.com/video/B7YIDWj11PU/w-d-xo.html
You leave her in the Waiting Room like me 😂😂😂😂 ....😢
Is 160 really the least speed?
115 Base Speed + 45 Speed Boots.
Is she good for adventure?
Not really, no. She's a PvP only sort of hero. Profboi recently discovered how to use her in hunts but yeah she's not really for adventure
@@im_Tsu thanks 👍
