Left with a melancholy feeling. Seeing the two pics of the home that are hanging on the walls gives the impression this was a well loved home and a place of happiness. Seeing the touches of the homemaker to make the house a cosy home for the family enforces that thought. So sad there isn't someone to make it come alive again. Thank you again for another thoughtful interesting video. Love the beautiful scenery in Norway!
What a nice cozy home inside...always so sad to see someone's life left behind and all of the memories. Thank you for always being so respectful to someone's home and belongings...and as always thanks for sharing!
Yes...How so many people put so much stock in material wealth, power and are so self absorbed with no time to care about what really matters... but with a snap of a finger as your life flashes before your eyes...usually so many regrets!
Lovely house. The wood stoves are beautiful! It is sad to think that someone passed away and no one cares for it. I hope someone comes along before the house goes to ruin.
What a beautiful little house. The owner clearly took pride in and loved it. It's so sad. If the walls could talk..... Thank you for sharing this treasure....
Sweet little home. Doesn't look like it's been abandoned for long. Your camera work is superb. It flows very nicely not fast or jerky like some I've seen. Beautiful job!
Perhaps the nearest relative lives far away. That sometimes happens when someone dies without children and the relative who has never met, does not want the fuss, expense or bother of cleaning and selling. Death / inheritance tax was abolished in 2014.
I love Norweigans! Your respect for the property of others, and the items, themselves, is inspirational. Americans (of which I am one) could definitely take a leaf out if your book. Thanks, Norway!
Anne Copeland I agree. I am American, too, and I will never understand why people ruin things just for the sake of ruining them. It shows a lack of decency and maturity.
G S, I am American and like to explore old/abandoned places. I never take or break anything. Because people would know where I am exploring, I don't take videos either so I have no content to upload on TH-cam. The places would be recognizable very easily to locals or even the people in the next town over. I have explored a large abandoned mall. The feeling I get is of sadness. The house or mall will never again hear children laughing or feel footsteps walking through it. Abandoned places always make me feel sad when I leave.
largol33t1 I understand, and often feel the same sadness when exploring old homes. The beautiful craftsmanship we came to know and love growing up, has been forsaken for the unappealing. Old, abandoned homes also mark the passage of time, and the simpler, and in many ways, better, way of life we came to know and love. I believe our reaction is a common appreciation for beauty, and fear of it's loss. I am sorry we are so distressed by these homes, at the same time we love and appreciate them. I keep telling myself, "This is the way things are now. I have to accept this." Still, easier said than done. Peace.
Made me sad to see their belongings left behind ..it shows once we leave this earth All we have really is nothing ....I hope who ever lived there is at peace
What a great home... I would love to own one of those beautiful wood stoves. They are gorgeous ! Same as the other places, old photos left behind. Sad. Thank you for another great video. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸
I remember there used to be an old woman living in that house. I spent my childhood in the area and often visited the grocery store that used to be next door.

Beautiful birds eye maple dresser and wardrobe! Wonderful skeleton key collection! I collect them as well. Curious if you are anywhere near Svelvik, Norway? My grandmother, Gertrude Hansen, came to the USA from there when she was 23. I'd sure love to see some of that area! :)

I had the sensation that you were rushing. You did not open any closets or draws.🤔🤔🤔 The place it's so beautiful, a lovely old lady"s presence it feels in the home. Very sad to leaves all behind and become just dust, no one to remember us. I make stories on my head but this one it's too sad😣😭😢😭
I knew was in Europe the heating system is beautifully ornamented. She was a very nice, neat, clean lady but of course perhaps someone went there and make a mess in the kitchen. The furniture is beautiful, if I am not mistaken her clothes are from the 60's or 70's . Where are her children? ....🎋🎋🎋
Looks like the home of an extremely disciplined old lady. She kept everything spotless and threw out everything not necessary. Amazing how she managed to keep that very old electric stove (60 years?) looking like new. Even the barn is free of clutter!!!! She seemed to have a baby come visit her (crib). What a pity we couldn´t see the bottom floor
Abandoned Norway, Those stoves in the home are built by Helae Lokamoen around 1700 in the Town of Notodden, Norway. I was so interested in them that I looked up the name from the video when you taped it. If you look up this info about the stoves (Ulefoss 1766 decorative Norwegian Stove. cast iron. Jotul 118 size) it will give you some information. Love you videos just searching for different kinds of abandoned places. Glade I saw yours.
your music background like a i;m watching sad story movie,,,,can you put little story what happen to owners this house???where are they gone??,,thks for sharing,,2017

Evanescence, beautiful movie. Thanks.
hello ty for like this one.
great video
Fantastiskt att det fått stå så länge utan att bli vandaliserat.
Great Video thanks for sharing it! The furniture looks way too clean to be abandoned since 2003. Even the stoves looked shiny. Where was all the dust?
Ty for like this , Why should dust come inside when its sealed ? and my country is cold with long Winther and short summer.
very sad to think that the owner's are not coming back to their possessions and there sits the house, full of stuff and lonely.
I like your videos mate! cheers
