Just got a 2017 340i, already did the oil and coolant on the car, replaced coolant cap as well to fix coolant loss. Next is fuel cleaning and trans fluid, she just hit 78k miles
what!!!?? NOOOOO NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE ENGINE FLUSH!!! it does NOT LUBRICATE, just change oil every 3-5K and use new filter every time, the detergents in the oil will do PLENTY to keep the insides of the engine clean and free of carbon deposits/ debris
@@joesyoutubepage not according to all the engine R&R's i did thanks to Jiffy lube and their "engine flush" service, where the rod's, or mains or both spun and locked the engine. or in DOHC engines the cam journals became extremely scored. oil has plenty of detergents, and i don't care if it says it's LL-01 BMW certified, anything past 7K according to independent testing performed by blackstone labs shows the oil is no longer protecting but abriding due to excess silica suspension in the oil proper oil changes are 3-5K to keep additives and oil clean in the engine. i have a N54 with 188K miles, and when i did the valve cover and swapped to an all aluminum one the cam ledges where pristine, with only minor discoloring from age. zero carbon deposits, and i change it at 5K max.
I have a 2014 diesel BMW F30 320D if so, what do you recommend?, my car has 250,000 kilometers down pipe eco tune, never had a fault apart from oil and filters every 20,000 kilometers yesterday i have done for the first time new battery and suspensio
for the gearbox fluid the first change has to be done at 150.000 km recommended by ZF officially (confirmed by mail by one of their agent) not every 50000 or 80000 like i heard of course you can always do it earlier especially if you use xHP and change settings / reprog it
Broooo on the fence about buying a 2012 328i, price is excellent. Car condition feels amazing. But not sure yet. Is there a place where I can take the car for a pre purchase inspection? Would really appreciate your suggestion please.
Bro how much did all these maintenance cost (engine oil, oil filter, engine flush, transmission fluid, brake fluid, rear diff oil) planning to get a second hand one
I don't think so. I changed mine first time at 192k km and it was good. I changed it to new one, so this new should be good for a another 200k. N20, xdrive 28i. Changed oil every 5k km.
"Engine oil, Oil Filter, Engine Flush, Gear Oil + Filter, Brake Fluid, Axle Oil, Airmass cleaning, Air Filter, Injector cleaner" is all-together RM1449 ($330) at Z Auto Service. The rest are also not that expensive.
Owners like you who don't believe in proper maintenance are the ones who break these cars. Everything I mentioned is basic maintenance and is the case with most car brands. If changing fluids and some belts and tensioners are BS to you, go buy an electric car.
11. Spark Plugs & Coils
Every 100,000km or 60,000miles 😉

Replacing everything, just do maintenance as needed... From a E90 and F30 owner😊
List pls
I really enjoyed this video so much please keep them coming I agreed with absolutely everything you said
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Can you list the maintenance price
Just picked up a 2014 328i wagon. This is great info, going to be doing a lot of this right away
Congratulations! Glad I could help.

I have a 2013 328i. With 121,000 miles, I will follow your advice! 🙏🏼
I just bought one of those today. Whats some of the maintenancee u do for it?
@@asfarsarfaraz3510 I’ve had it a little over one year. I have only changed the oil twice and bought new tires. So far I’m very happy, or lucky! 🤷♂️
@@asfarsarfaraz3510oil change, coolant change, spark plugs, coils

in an f30, you should be fine driving without the belt for at least 20 km, as steering pump is electric as well as the coolant and fan.
Is there a list of all the items discussed?
Only if I had a honest shop that would do all the maintenance work
Its very hard this day
you can try to tip the mechanic secretly , before the work starts .works every time !
Another fantastic video😁
More to come 😁

Can you advise on gear/ transmission oil change??
Thanks for the great video, why do people say bmw s are not reliable, is it because they do not do the proper maintenance or they just unreliable
You don't need to do that much maintenance on Toyota and Honda.

Don’t forget the blinker fluid lol
😂😂😂😂😂
Already subs you bro. Your channel is well explained. I have tried surfing many channel include my own country but not good enough.
Did you take inspiration for your cars wrap from the Star Trek episode “ let that be your last battlefield”?
Haha! Nope. I took it from a guy on IG called M4 Carbon Trooper
Very informative video. Thank You!
Glad it was helpful!

I'm from KL
Z Auto Service, tell him AJ sent you
I USUALLY change it at 10K km because isnt that the point of fully synthetic oil?
Most of us usually spend lots of time in traffic with the car idling, so I'd consider that as the extra "2000km" myself just to be safe.
How much does all these flushes and oil changes cost?
Without the timing chain and belts and stuff, probably less than $500
engine mounting change before?
Yes! I've already done it in another video on my channel. Should be Tip No. 12 👌🏼

If you're from Malaysia, I believe Z Auto Service has a package for that specific service for RM1449.

These cars were made to last the lease, after 5 years or 100k km everything goes to shit..😂, thats the 'lifetime' of the car...

this is nonsense.
In other words just swap the entire car out. GTFOOH with this BS
