These were definitely an unexpected surprise. I am glad it was brought up that RW has not been in the conversation, for a variety of reasons as mentioned. This release shows they should become part of the conversation, at least around this model release. I would go for the 39.5mm, which would make a nice vintage looking dress watch without the vintage fuss (or small size for some of us). It would be a tough call on which one to pick, because there are several that I find appealing. Thanks for doing a quick video on this release/brand. It seems to be right in the W&W wheel house.
I hope they keep going on building up their regard in the eyes of enthusiasts, great looking pieces and I love they put lume on these dress watches! too rarely seen, but if done tastefully (as here), it can come in very handy
@@SampleTracks2224 for 2k you can look at Nomos, Ball, Hamilton, etc. etc. all with better movements and just as thin. Also, there are some Chinese watchmakers making inhouse movements these days.
Will Raymond Weil make me more attractive to other male watch enthusiasts in wine bars, or make me money flipping on the secondary? No? Then not interested.
I am a dial guy first, and Raymond Weil makes beautiful watches that are quite affordable.
They do!

Thanks for watching!
Amazing, the font of "automatic" kills it for me tho.
Why isn’t it the same as the other text on the dial???
DOPE.
These new releases seem to be worth my Weil

Couldn't agree more!
That sellita movement though...& 38 hours power reserve...yikes.
In something this thin at this price that's not from China you are not getting anything else.
@@SampleTracks2224 for 2 grand there are other choices that doesn't involve bringing China into the convo.

@@SampleTracks2224 at 2k, plenty of other choices, Swiss & German.
The moonphase version with a LJP movement would have been just so perfect !
