This was a cool interview. Richard took his opportunity and turned Gas Monkey into an empire. Respect to him for everything he’s accomplished. No easy feat that’s for damn sure. 👊💯💪🙏🏻
After seeing Rawlings on couple different shows now, he just seems like a genuinely fun guy that easy to talk to and has great stories. Bert really did a good job on letting him talk this show. Awesome episode
I think his youtube show is awesome too. He's candid just like this; you can tell they don't edit fun stuff out. I love how he shows what a real haggle is like too.
I met Richard in Dallas when we went to visit Texas he's a great guy he came out of the garage just to say hi to us it took a bunch of pictures he even took a picture of my shirt almost got me naked 😂
What a great podcast, Richard is a great guy and had great foresight to what he wanted to do,. Bert see if you can get Heavy D Sparks and Diesel Dave on for a Podcast 🤘
Glad you had this dude on. The show has taken an about face finally and is it's very best now. Thanks for featuring RR. Staff is a little hmmm je Nas sait pas. But perhaps will wear on. Take care brother from the flatlands of Alberta cheers.
RR is Great in the interviews I seen; as well as: his show here on TH-cam! But, I couldn't watch his show on Discovery so I happy have given his stuff and go. I guess for me, it was the goons he had working in the shop and/or their antics? Because I remember watching /enjoying the Discovery anytime RR was out looking/buying cars with one of his friends or business partners. And I remember having to Fast Forward through the rest until I gave up and removed the show from my DVR series record list... Great Job Bert, you and RR appeared to really enjoy each others company and that always a joy to see!
Thanks for this show Bert. I'm sitting at home water logged in central Florida contemplating my existence, and this was a phenomenal interview with a much needed mood boost. Now it's time to chase some dreams and make shit happen.
The '32 Fords are Bad Ass!! I'm the same age as Richard. We grew up in a generation where cars were all muscle. Hard and Fast. You take a stock Model A, chop it or just lower it, big tires, (like the Green Cricket), those cars just look cool. Even in the Rat Rod stage, unpainted, they still look cool.
Podcast idea for Richard: comedian, celebrities, professional athletes. Talk about their car knowledge (more in depth than top gear) all while cruising in their favorite or dream cars
Love or hate Richard, this man has built an empire on sheer hard work and not giving a shit what you think about him. He built a ‘street drag car’ and raced Big Chief with a proven ‘street drag car’ and held his own with what they built. People criticizing him for not driving it was ignorant. Gas Monkey was just a 1 lift shop less than 15 years ago. Now it is world wide.
I remember Talking to RR at a Truck Show in Greenville, MS back in 2001. We had gone over to see what all was going on over where they had set up with a Trampoline and had folks jumping. We asked how they were able to ride/transport their cars in what we all know now as a "Totter-home / Stacker Trailer" ? He was one of if not the first custom shops or individuals in the truck show seen who was going that big so we were thinking maybe we were missing something like owning another big company , personal wealth, or my favorite a insurance settlement check? lol But no, no this guy didn't know us from Sam and didn't hesitate to tell us that he probably pays less each month than most guys with a new tuck and open deck car trailer. Then he gave us the numbers and how to structure the type of loan he had and the other details tax breaks ect. I don't remember everything but he was happy share the real deal on stuff just like Bert does on many things. I guess that kind of openness really speaks to a guys level of confidence of their self worth. That's surely not the only one ingredient that goes into making great dudes like these two but I can say with confidence that whatever the recipe calls for RR had the all long before any TV shows because we got a taste first hand back in the day. And it still fees good to think back on right now, which stands to remind me of the kind of dude I'd like to be personally. Thanks Richard
If anyone is curious about the black buffalo snuff, I got some with Bert's code. It's honestly fairly priced, think cope or Skoal price. It packs better than any alternative and the blood orange is really good and the nicotine is noticable. Will be buying again. So thanks bert
28:55 Bert is not describing being humble, he doesn't know what words mean. What he's describing is vulnerable. We need to support him during this tough October.
I fucking loved this episode, thanks burt and rich for the kick ass episode, and what burt tried to say the whole show was thanks Richard for being a normal dude with a abnormal will to achieve the same with burt for us normal folks we can relate to a millionaire like yourselves, keep up the good work.
Richard is a stand up guy. He stopped what he was doing when he was in Miami for gumball when he heard his name called, walked over and took a picture with my son. Best of luck to him
If you guys haven't seen Bert live it's a must! Shout out to the Are you Garbage crew as well. Just watched them last night it was amazing! The Paso show was lit
You know I never released how much Richard looks just like Bruce Campbell! And now I can't get that out of my head? WTF! How have I never noticed this? AM I RIGHT? Or this weed is a hell'va lot better than thought? NO! HE LOOKS JUST LIKE BRUCE! WOW! MIND BLOWN & pitcher Richard in a pea green Donk doing 150 mph on the side of the road getting a ticket? I WONT TO SEE THAT DAM DASH CAM ON THAT TRAFFIC STOP!
I told myself I wouldn't watch this because I always thought Richard was a ass, but I love Bert! But I'm glad I did I though , NOW I got a hole new respect for Richard after seeing this! It's hard to tell your side of the story if your social media is under a gag order in your contact?
Richard did it right I love cars and was a big fan of the show but the real kicker was my gf and mom liked it a lot too haha. I drove a old vw cross country that broke down twice had a blast… get out there kids go for a drive
Get a Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Bert. 690 HP, 200 MPH, of pure luxury fun... Not that I could ever own one, but if the lotto gods come to visit, that would be my go to toy.
I've seen the gumball Run come through Vermont several different years. I'm pretty sure I saw Richard Rollins car, at a Burlington Hotel, South Burlington to be technical which is now DoubleTree not sure what the name of it was then
I grew up with my dad and my uncles watching him. He should do a real grease monkey podcast. Just in the shop or garage with a case of beer talking and debating about different cars and random shit! And yes, I know his brand is Gas Monkey. In my Uper family, we're grease monkeys.
I usually listen to Bertcast. This is the first time I've actually watched a video of it. I mean this in the kindest way, but Bert doesn't seem like such an idiot when I can see him talking. I really like Bert, but sometimes he says some really dumb stuff with absolute sincerity, and it drives me nuts.
in November when you swing up to North Dakota and Montana if you got time swing down to Rapid City, South Dakota hang for a day or check out Mount Rushmore!! Get at me
Hey Bert Good to see Ya Funny Guy Enjoy that Sober October You guys been doing that for awhile now Good stuff Will be looking for your cooking show Richard always good to see you too Some great stories Enjoyed them all Congratulations on all your successes Worked hard for them Happy for all the Fast n Loud Gas Monkey success and all the ways you've expanded on that Later Guys

Bert looks like a guy who sells mood rings.
Richard you are the man! I have been flipping cars as well since I could drive. Your an inspiration man!
U both are so awsome . Wish I could have a slice of life like this!!!
I'd love to see Bert's expression every time you said "it's the freakin' machine"
Bert should've just said "that's why I became THE MACHINE"
Bert’s sitting like a mother on Christmas morning.
Uhh hundred percent😂
Bruh that's on point
Bert is at the most a birthing person
mrs machine
😭😂🤣
This was a cool interview. Richard took his opportunity and turned Gas Monkey into an empire. Respect to him for everything he’s accomplished. No easy feat that’s for damn sure. 👊💯💪🙏🏻
After seeing Rawlings on couple different shows now, he just seems like a genuinely fun guy that easy to talk to and has great stories. Bert really did a good job on letting him talk this show.

Oohh that is a great idea 💡
Man it would be the best if it was rich, Tom, and Rogan and they did an all elk special.
29:10 Bert throws a glance at the 12 pack and Richard 100% instantly knows its the subliminal move for we both want one.. lets crack some beers.
Richard is one of the coolest people ever. Anytime he’s on a pod with a good hosts it’s 🔥
100%
This made me like Richard even more. I didn't know he had a youtube show now.
It's under 'Gas Monkey Garage and Richard Rawlings'.
His link is in the bio
He isnt TRAPPED BY DISCOVERY CHANNEL. CONTRACT ENDED=FREEDOM STARTED
I was just going to say the same. I like Richard so much more after this. Definitely going to check out the show!
I think his youtube show is awesome too. He's candid just like this; you can tell they don't edit fun stuff out. I love how he shows what a real haggle is like too.
He needs to be on something burning with Tom. That's my new favorite show on the tube.
Richard kills it. Dude is very wealthy and a super down to earth.
I’ve always heard he was a dickhead
Take a drink when Richard says, “what have you”
these 2 doing a food and car show would be amazing!
One of my favorite Bertcast's.
I met Richard in Dallas when we went to visit Texas he's a great guy he came out of the garage just to say hi to us it took a bunch of pictures he even took a picture of my shirt almost got me naked 😂
This is a great podcast. I love when bert is actually a fan of the guest.
I live 5 minutes from the new Lewisville location that he mentioned, and I can’t wait! He brings a lot of good bands, across all genres to his places
One of the best episodes. I really hope they work on something together. It would be a great watch
Yep I can see these two in a car hauling ass and bert screeming and laughing his ass off.
Literally could listen to them talk all day great episode
So great that they keep recording going.
I wasnt shocked to hear that Burt has quit.
He was a great man
I’m glad Bret’s double lung transplant went well!
his BF sold it well.....
*Double kidney….
I heard It was really a breast reduction cause he's so fat.
Especially directly after having a successful attachadicktome surgery
Still doing that huh?
What a great podcast, Richard is a great guy and had great foresight to what he wanted to do,. Bert see if you can get Heavy D Sparks and Diesel Dave on for a Podcast 🤘
Glad you had this dude on. The show has taken an about face finally and is it's very best now. Thanks for featuring RR. Staff is a little hmmm je Nas sait pas. But perhaps will wear on. Take care brother from the flatlands of Alberta cheers.
Such a fun podcast and to listen to Richard brings my back to memory lane as a kid, when Burt Reynolds did the movies Smokey and the bandit.
Richards youtube Channel is killin it. I really liked FAL but his TH-cam is another level
He has under 1 million subscribers. 27 mil? LOL
@@JLindebergful saw that hahaha I think maybe all of his Social media has 27 million? But F If I know
Probably the greatest one Bert has done
Please do "Something's Burning" with Richard! That would be such a good episode!
Awesome guest! Wasn't really a Rawlings fan until now. Seems like a legit dude.
His rogan podcast was great as well
RR is Great in the interviews I seen; as well as: his show here on TH-cam! But, I couldn't watch his show on Discovery so I happy have given his stuff and go. As someone from Sandusky Ohio (Cedar Point) it’s always nice to here Billy talk about it
Thanks for this show Bert. I'm sitting at home water logged in central Florida contemplating my existence, and this was a phenomenal interview with a much needed mood boost. Now it's time to chase some dreams and make shit happen.
We need Richard on a two bears episode!
You know for a fact they are going to have them on retainer for two bears racing 🏎️👌
A show with these two would be great.
Love your range of guests bert, awesome selection man thanks ! ⛽ 🐒
I see a bromance happening here! 😂 looking forward to see what Bert and Richard do next!
The '32 Fords are Bad Ass!! I'm the same age as Richard. We grew up in a generation where cars were all muscle. Hard and Fast. Hope your feeling better bert and speedy recovery 🙏 ❤️ 🏴🏴🏴
Podcast idea for Richard: comedian, celebrities, professional athletes. Talk about their car knowledge (more in depth than top gear) all while cruising in their favorite or dream cars
just subscribed to Richards channel. I honestly never knew he was even on TH-cam.
thanks bert
Back and better than ever without any of that "TV Magic" 😎
Love or hate Richard, this man has built an empire on sheer hard work and not giving a shit what you think about him. Best interviews Bert , super comfortable and RR is always entertaining !
This looks like the begging of a hilarious relationship. I'm all for it
Man such a good podcast thank you for getting him on I really enjoyed this one👍👍
Richard's story sounds like the perfect script for a Canon Ball Run sequel
Yep I can see it with bert in it hilarious. The story of Richard and the plane and helicopter should be the script.
May or may not be in the works 😉
Love this these two need a show together
28:55 Bert is not describing being humble, he doesn't know what words mean. What he's describing is vulnerable. We need to support him during this tough October.
Bust to move Bert you got Richard on your show right on👍👍😎
Something's Burning with Richard and donnell would be fun
The right guy to mention is.
DENNIS COLLINS!!!!!!
I fucking loved this episode, thanks burt and rich for the kick ass episode, and what burt tried to say the whole show was thanks Richard for being a normal dude with a abnormal will to achieve the same with burt for us normal folks we can relate to a millionaire like yourselves, keep up the good work.
I didn’t even know he had a TH-cam channel. Definitely going to it now
Right on Richard I just love it that you did it with Dennis I didn't know that. Mr Jeep
Richard is a stand up guy. He stopped what he was doing when he was in Miami for gumball when he heard his name called, walked over and took a picture with my son. Best of luck to him
Monkey and the Bears podcast that would be amazing 👏 maybe like 5 exclusive series 🤔 Richard has a lot of good stories make it happen Machine
If you guys haven't seen Bert live it's a must! Shout out to the Are you Garbage crew as well. Just watched them last night it was amazing! The Paso show was lit
Such a great listen. Do this again soon!!
The Japan/Tokyo Lowrider scene is definitely underrated. As far as cultural appreciation goes. Japan is killing it. No joke.
That's perfect Bert having Richard on something's burning
Cool episode with Richard!! I remember watching the first episode to the last episode of fast and loud...You tube episodes of gas monkey garage rule!!
Nicely done, thoroughly enjoyed that
Burt seems genuinely interested in his conversation with Richard.
This was a fantastic watch
Talk about a perfect pair,so funny 🤣
saw your short with another comedy on working and being away from home, then now see you talk about sober October.
Congratulations Boss
"Me and Rogan and Tom, and this guy Ari Shafir..." 😂

I HAVE A NEW FOUND RESPECT FOR RICHARD NOW... THANKS BERT🙂
I'm glad I got to know Richard a little bit,
I told myself I wouldn't watch this because I always thought Richard was a ass, but I love Bert! But I'm glad I did I though , NOW I got a hole new respect for Richard after seeing this! It's hard to tell your side of the story if your social media is under a gag order in your contact?
Your show turned me on to monkey garage on TH-cam. Thanks!!!
Can you imagine walking in a bar and bumping into The Machine and Rawlings having a pint. My fuckin head would fall off
Best episode in a while
The not driving is fear that they won’t be able to safely learn. Just guide them that they can. I promise they can 💯
Great episode Richard was super interesting
Drink'n beer #5 on a Tuesday watching this giggle'n. lol
Great episode boys-
Glad too see the trippple liver transplant was a success. Long live the bert
2 Bears....CANNONBALL RUN!
Richard did it right I love cars and was a big fan of the show but the real kicker was my gf and mom liked it a lot too haha. I drove a old vw cross country that broke down twice had a blast… get out there kids go for a drive
Finally bert named the watch he has! Whew, that was killing me 😪 he might have cited it previously, if so, gfy 🥴
Anyone here old enough to remember when Richard ran the west coast customs “pimp my ride” episodes back in early 2000s?
Get a Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Bert. 690 HP, 200 MPH, of pure luxury fun... Not that I could ever own one, but if the lotto gods come to visit, that would be my go to toy.
Richard is the man I’m glad how he took down the bullshit media this show is so much brighter now
I've seen the gumball Run come through Vermont several different years. I'm pretty sure I saw Richard Rollins car, at a Burlington Hotel, South Burlington to be technical which is now DoubleTree not sure what the name of it was then
Richard and Dennis on Something’s Burning would be awesome
Food & Car Show Bert Kreischer & Richard Rawlings @Netflix come one make this happen
No matter how much I like the guest I just can't make it through a bert interview
I grew up with my dad and my uncles watching him. He should do a real grease monkey podcast. Just in the shop or garage with a case of beer talking and debating about different cars and random shit!
And yes, I know his brand is Gas Monkey. In my Uper family, we're grease monkeys.
Love Richard Rawlings, great podcast Fat sticks!
Bert picking his feet the whole time is fucking disgusting.
I hope Ricard didn't shake his hand at the end.
Good collaboration!!! Nice idea …
somethings burning with bert tom and richard would be fire!
in November when you swing up to North Dakota and Montana if you got time swing down to Rapid City, South Dakota hang for a day or check out Mount Rushmore!! Get at me
