Great to hear from you Mike and yes, a massive recommendation for this fragrance especially if you're new to oud as a fragrance note. It's masterfully blended so that the oud doesn't over power the other notes BUT it states it's place (making it clear that this is an oud perfume)
It's GLORIOUS and well worth to testing out💫

Boom baby! More Than Words arrived today. I'll admit being somewhat dubious about it, given some of the strong opinions in the fragrance community (it's either a love or hate) but my concerns quickly drifted away when I smelt it for the very first time earlier today (yes, it WAS a blind buy but sure we never ever do that). 🤫

Marcelo what are your thoughts on the effect of climates with high humidity on perfume performance? In my experience 5 sprays of an extrait de parfum turns into a body scent quickly on me whilst on one of your videos I believe that you say 3 sprays is enough for most perfumes. My country of residence has a climate temp ranging from 23° to 30° celcius with >90% humidity.

The short answer is YES: I've discovered that weather is an important factor to the power and longevity of a fragrance. In Melbourne I feel that it's perfect perfume weather. I was also recently in Paris and everywhere I went (where there was a concentration of people) I felt that the air was constantly perfumed. As people walked past their sillage was amazing and lingered in the air so beautifully.
The second equation is skin. I've also discovered that some people have a skin type that seems to 'eat up perfume'. Even big hitting perfumes evaporate like water on their skin!

Appreciate the response Marcelo and yes I’ve already watched some of your Perfume FAQ episodes. This question actually came across my mind due to my experience going to Japan in November with a few friends and being told that I sprayed too much even though it was only 2-3 sprays of a skin-scent perfume. In my home country, any perfume I spray on skin goes undetected even with 5-7 sprays😂

Yes, this could work as an office fragrance; I know that my 2 sons love to wear it when they go to work...for me, I love this as a going out fragrance.
Either way, it has great sillage and projection so depending on what you want the fragrance to do.
In regards to being more masculine; I don't think it's either. This can easily work on a man or a woman (and I mean super easy on either)
