Adam is one of my favorite characters, to me, he is well written villain. Vivienne and some animators and writers wrote on Twitter that he is one of their favorite characters, and how fun they have writing him. A charismatic funny cocky toxic spoiled misogynistic sexist based douchebag that you have fun love to hate. And there is a reason why he is that evil. He wasn't evil when he was alive, he was just a selfish person who fought his wife was made for him in his eyes, because she appeared a little bit later after his birth, and he wanted her to do what he wants, he demanded control, let's not forget that he is first human, he didn't have parents who could teach him a discipline and what's right and wrong, he grew up in the environment that morals for humanity didn't existed yet, when he get to heaven, Sera didn't make him realize that he made mistake, and the fact that Lilith didn't submit his will, and later with lucifer exposed earth to the root of all evil, and perhaps possessed his new wife Eve, in Adam's eyes that makes his actions, his idea "that woman are not equals as him but a man's additions who should submit him" look good, when Lilith and Lucifer are villains in his point of view. Also in hazbin hotel he didn't ate the fruit of knowledge, because of this, he didn't gain knowledge, did not allow him to realize his mistakes, and cannot find the difference between good and evil, so he has black and white views. And then Sera gives him a royal fancy live, that he will get anithing he wants on the silver platter, and not facing a consequences of his mistakes, and he lived like Kuzco, without love and discipline reveling in power in ten thousands years, so what's why he is so spoiled frat bro and has God complexes, because of the fact he get from Sera and Elders that he is the first human, a special who gave birth to humanity, reason why Adam is so evil is due to him being spoiled rotten because of how he had the whole world in his favor on how he wanted to see it fit, making him labeled to be too special for his benefit, ironically this makes him more in line with how the original biblical Devil is than Lucifer, having his perfection corrupt him. In first episode what he sayed, he was wrong, but he didn't lied because he genuinely believes in that.
sad that's actually not said in the show but speculations and theory from fans. And until it's said, it's just that, speculations. I hope we get to see him in S2 to explore his character a bit more. But if that's not the case... wasted character potential
@howdy-573 I am not a fan of moment that niffty stabbed Adam, and him, might be, become a demon. It would be better if Sera punishes Adam first time, and send him to hell. That would be Sera's character development, because she never punishes him because he is first human soul in heaven, and that's why Adam is so spoiled. I mean the whole gimmick of Adam is that he he is complete opposite of Charlie. Charlie is demon, but as person she's true angel, then Adam is angel, but as person he's true demon. I want him to stayed as angel, but stuck in hell.

Episode 8 of this was awesome. I can't wait for season 2 Alastor and Rosie I ship them two And when I saw the end of this episode? It shocked me when I saw charlie's mom Lilith. And it shocked me when sir panches was in heaven.
