Hello James, did you experience Saving problems in Thunkable? It should automatically save your work but twice (1 bigger change, 1 smaller change) we found it didn't save. We were planning to use the paid version for our business but I doubt now very much. Is Thunkable not useful for more professional use and more intended for hobby?

Really good video. I love the Blocks logic in Thunkable, I remember seeing it in some MIT labs about 6 years ago if not earlier. My big issue is the portability of code - if you build it with Thunkable, is it trapped or can you take it to another builder? Ditto Flutterflow...

Hi James, if we clone an app eith flutterflow but adapt it for a new use.. Will it give any issues when publicly launching it? Like monetising advert or subscriptions?

Nice video. It's a pity that you did not make more tutorials for Thunkable. Flutterflow sounds nice, but I think there are a few things. NoCode builders like Thunkable or Glide, have the possibility that in the free plan, you can create your own app and install it on your mobile device. As far as I can see, Flutterflow doesn't have this. For Flutterflow, you need to have a paid plan, before you are able to install it on your mobile device. For Thunkable, a paid plan starts at $15. For Flutterflow this is already $30. For a beginner or someone who is just starting, a free plan is nice. But if you need to pay to install your created app, I prefer something cheaper.

My first try with Thunkable was that it was really looking great, so I started to see if my "ready made" app in MIT App Inventor could be moved to Thunkable because MIT App Inventor looks very much the same as Thunkable. And after several hours for making some screens in Thunkable, I was happy about the result. I didn't find a SAVE button but I found on internet that all should be saved automatically. I even saved by duplicate the just made screens to a "backup app". The next day, I found that all my work was "for nothing", nothing was saved in Thunkable :-(. Then I tried again and made only some small changes and saved, again nothing was saved. What is this? Or do i do something wrong??!! If this would work fine, I think that this would be my favorite app building tool, but when it is not reliable with saving, this is the most important item for making an app. Also I read that, even when buying the paid version, Thunkable still adds their logo in the app. If so, Thunkable is only for hobby, not to use for your business.

We need an Android and IOS development tool, don't need to be free, if it is working good because we use for our business, not just for hobby. But we found Thunkable is not reliable with "automatically" saving and also no SAVE button, so our first try we lost several working hours. To test we made later only small changes and check if it was saved, but still not saved. Is Kodular reliable for building Android and IOS apps?

FlutterFlow has not put out good tutorials. They are too fast or jump into the weeds sooner than needed. Thunkable may not be as capable, but I have found some good tutorials. Sometimes that maks a huge difference. Still trying both, and others, so I may change my mind on that.

At first glance this is just visual programming. Way to technical for businesspeople. I like Xano better. But indeed I still am in doubt if FLUTTERFLOW has enough functionality when it comes to logics…
