Some more thoughts after uploading: We see the woman in a train car alone, travelling on an upwards slope. Given that she's going upwards and a demonic figure derails her, I feel that the upwards ascent is meant to represent the path to heaven, but it's presented in a lonely, kind of industrial, mass-produced way, to suggest that the heavenly path isn't all it's cracked up to be. The demon derails her, but her cart never crashes, suggesting that the demon isn't trying to hurt her, but simply redirect her onto a new path. At the end, she is freed from the confines of her train car, and is meeting up with other figures in a jungle, suggesting that the demon has offered her autonomy and community away from mainstream civilization.
I really liked this song, even if it did feel different to the rest of Ghosts work. (This was before we had Twenties though XD). From what I've read and understood, the song has strong Aleister Crowley inspirations - Call Me Little Sunshine is a quote he said whilst in court on a Libel case in 1908. He was asked by the judge to explain why he called himself "The Beast 666." He replied that the number 666 simply means "sunlight." "You can call me Little Sunshine," he told the judge. The visuals on the song to me refelct that era - not quite Steampunk, but definitely Victorian. Thinking about it as an allusion to drug addiction just shows how clever Ghost is. I'm sure I read/heard somehwere that another full video is coming from Impera - I'm hoping that the woman in this video turns out to be a new character in the lore and this was just the start of her story! :D
As far as I've snuffled out, Little sunshine is a colloquial name for Lucifer, in the theme of "The morning star" and "Bringer of light (knowledge)" and Mephistopheles is a demon in German folklore, so that sits with your connection you made there. I read 2nd hand that the song is about drug addiction, so I guess "pick your demon" XD
