@@LostMindedAF If you go to your task manager and click on your GPU you can see exactly which directx the gpu uses. If you have a gpu which uses directx 12 then you can use dx11.
Think most people can patch and install mods these days but it's nice to help them out. Mixing mods is good way of messing up a playthrough. I never dived super deep into the mods and what you really have to do for it to run stable.

But for some reason when I extracted the 1.5.2 update file to my Anomaly folder with 7zip, I was left with a folder containing the update in my Anomaly folder that did absolutely nothing. Maybe I missed something or I'm stupid, but after opening the 152 folder, selecting all of it's contents and moving them back to my actual 151 folder, I was prompted to replace old files with the new ones and now the game is updated. :p

Hi, I know this was a couple months ago but I hope someone stumbles upon this comment and is willing to help me install this game (I am VERY new to Pcs and this installation process seems a little overwhelming). When I go to install the mod, it tells me that it has been blocked by Microsoft Edge. Does anyone know how to work around this issue? Again, I am very new to modding so it could be something really simple that I am missing. Please show compassion for my situation and thank you to anyone who is willing to help. :)
It sounds like M E thinks that the mod is a virus which is a false positive. Best thing to do is to use google chrome to download your mods and always open the zip files as an admin.
Hi I am currently trying to install stalker again and I am running into an issue where the game won’t launch and says I need gamedata/config/system.ltx. As far as I know the game data does not generate until after you launch the game but it won’t let me launch it. I have tried several clean installs all with the same result. Also the gamedata folder remains empty, if anyone knows a solution please let me know I can’t get anything to work.
Download the full game which is 1.5.1 www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151 Install it somewhere you like on your pc , then test it see if it works. Then download 1.5.2 patch and install it over the game.
First Lower stalker population to 50% you can keep mutants at 75% , set your gpu to low latency if you have that option and if you have multicore manually load stalker anomaly from the bin and load an AVX version of which direct x you have

Everything was fine before the update. I played it once after the update, it was fine and fun. After trying the launcher again, the game wouldn't launch, without any error notification at all. so I reinstalled the game.
If you have a modded game and you are going to rebuild a new 1.5.2 version of the game, Don't copy paste all the mods in the new 1.5.2 because it might not work and you will end up scratching your head which mod is conflicting or bugging with what.

I get a system error saying MSVCP140.dll a d3dx11_43.dll a d3dx9_43.dll and a D3DCOMPILER_43.dll was not found, says reinstalling the program may fix the issue, tried it several times. I don't know how to fix this. I have also ran the Verify installed version and it says its installed correctly

Sounds like a problem with the zip program , what program are you using?
I am using 7 zip, but after reinstalled another time it started working on its own, I did not change anything so I’m really not sure what was going on

Yes you can the game will recreate new once every time you delete them.

And how did you update the files?
when I try it shows d3dx9_43.dill , d3dx11_43.dill , d3dcompiler_43.dill was not found do you know what that is
when i want to extract it into the anomaly folder it says do you want to replace this file in this destination
That's normal cause you are overwriting old files with new files 👍

It has reduced been in story mode , still occurs in warfare mode depending on settings.

If you are using a reshade make sure you match the DX of the launcher for the Reshade

Do you have Direct X 11? You sound like you have an older system.
This is too confusing "so its now downloaded, all you have to do is put it like this", put what into what?? and its all zoomed and blurring man
Install stalker anomaly 1.5.1 then test it see if everything is ok.
Then Download the 1.5.2 patch and extract everything inside the game.

You run the game in debug mode then you press F7 while in game and you find a nice weather editor

Yes you can , but then if you have problems try to reactivate the mods few at a time.
