Just done this. Massive thanks to you for walking us through the fix. I actually managed to get an Alphard motor from Ali express, so it had the correct polarity and I didn't need to adapt it
I’m indebted to you for this video. Seeing your steps particularly removing the door panel gave me the confidence I needed. And the best tip of all that saved the day was to reverse the motor’s polarity. I could have just struggled to complete the job only to hear the motor whirl but no movement of door. I would have then just thrown my hands into the air and left it there, job undone. But your tip was brilliant. Thank you.
Brill bud have been trying to solve my Alphard door problem for ages..new motor not working and the Doh moment reverse polarity!!! Well done many thanks..

When we bought the Alphard I said to my wife that the first thing to go wrong will be the sliding doors. Ones playing up again now..
Could you please share the link to the exact one you got. I have seen many options.
Any links for the motor?
Have you got a link for that buddy? Did you have to put the flat on it for the worm drive? or was it as original?

@@thecameraman675 thanks, I assume those are the correct dimensions? If so, I will try to find one in the UK where I am.
@@paul203360 They look right but it would be best to check first.
Motors are still working OK.
Good job
