  • I received my order from Sharon Hoppe Designs, and Sharon tossed in a few goodies for me to play with. I dived right in and decided to take you with me.
I love figuring out how to get the most out of my pottery tools and textures. So, while I knew that this Montana Leather Design was meant for an adorable tray, I wanted to see what else I could make with the forget-me-not floral tiny timber. As mugs are potters bread and butter, that's where I started. I ended up with a very sassy, corset-style, feminine tankard that I'm going to have a hard time giving up. Man, I love my job!
Check out @sharonhoppedesigns here on TH-cam and on Facebook for more tutorials on how she uses her amazing designs, and stay tuned for what Sharon and I are collaborating on. It's wild!

My heartfelt thanks goes out to Sandra Popek for sending me the butterflies and birdie molds for me to play with and add to my fairyhouses. Thank you so much, Sandra!

I've been glazing like crazy for the last 3 days, and was sick with flu for 10 days before that. So glad I found you in that time. Now I can hardly wait to get making some of these amazing things. What a great teacher and inspiration you are!🙏Thank you so much

I love your corset mugs. When other people do them, they just look like pregnant cups, but yours are so beautiful! (The screaming kids sounded like someone had parots nearby!)

Tiffinie, it's so cool watching the creative decision making process. While there's much to be said for planning pieces from start to finish, I still greatly enjoy the spontaneous creative process, where we just let the project evolve.

Wow we wow!! I LOVE THE MUG SOO MUCH!! I have yet to make a darted piece but you have definitely inspired me to try it for sure! Thanks so much for sharing everything with us. Oh and I can’t wait for you to do the slipcasting!! I started out slipcasting back in the 90’s and was hooked the first time I saw it done!! Molds can be sooo addicting though. Lol. Have fun with it.
