Omg, my aunt loved Mary Tyler Moore so much and now that I reflect, my aunt was a divorced single mother who worked so hard in a school district office and put 2 sons through college, and she must’ve related to MTM so much. Thank you for posting this!
I had to record the show when I worked mornings at my job, so I would come home and watch it after I got out of my work clothes and put on some comfy clothes and rewind the tape and watch it. Fast forwarding through the commercials. I loved the show and still miss it.
Really great. I got my sister and her daughter tickets to the show when they visited me in the Big Apple. The show was taped at 30 Rockefeller Center. The Rainbow Room, SNL ... so much more.
Loved you from the beginning and never stopped. Your podcast Onward is so special in that it reflects your growth that we can identify with. Plus, you sound so much calmer and at peace with it all.
What I love about Rosie, she's fans of celebs too, just like us, and she'll show it. But it never changed her, the way Oprah changed. When Oprah got big and was a star herself, she changed. I guess most of us would. But Rosie stayed down to earth and seems still an everyday gal. Kudos to Rosie!
