Now for some clarification don’t take it as “Season 7 is produced because the movie got its release cancelled” I’m pretty sure the new season was in development for a while especially since Gumball actually does take a full year to get produce and animate.
I wonder if Paramount will merge with Universal. I miss seeing Nickelodeon and DreamWorks teaming up on some DreamWorks Nicktoons. So if Universal and Paramount do merge, maybe Nickelodeon and DreamWorks will finally collaborate on some DreamWorks Nicktoons again sometimes.

The only thing I can think of is that some paramount movie franchises actually do make money, Sonic, Scream, TMNT, and even Transformers i think did well box office wise, so if Zaslav owned these franchises he’s probably lookin at it like let’s make some money u know, also considering he could then merge Paramount Plus and Max to get more Max subscribers, at that point it would be Max+, Peacock, Disney Plus/Hulu, and Netflix and of those i think Max+ would have the most content available on it other then maybe Netflix, the only real hit that Warner had this year was Barbie, so i think Zaslav is looking for those box office hits and he wants existing ip’s that Paramount owns
