Watched this film last night. The story wasn't anything extraordinary but the performances oh my god. Jaideep and Kareena truly embodied those characters. ❤❤
I feel like I'm seeing a different Bebo here. There's an aura of humility and maturity I sense in her here. I think it's safe to say, "she's come a long way". I've always thought of her as an artist who knows her onions. Even the critically panned Heroine, she still made it work. I just thought her personal life was always looming behind her craft and not in a great way. So it was hard to take her seriously. But now, it's clear the craft really does matter to her. You can see it. Like a gratitude of sorts. Good for her.
She ( with Saif's wisdom and advice) has realized that at this age she cannot be that catty poo in reel and real life. Finally the mask is off and we see the unsure, vulnerable kareena.
I think Kareena's best best role till date is Talaash. She was mystical unpredictable and totally breathtaking. Some of you might not agree but that's my opinion. I would love to see her doing such characters.
I so agree with this. She just nailed the role of an alluring and mysterious woman. I could never have guessed that she was the ghost. She was outstanding in Taalash. Its the most underrated performance of hers.
Agreeing with you & felt the same the time when I saw & came out of theatre. Was only thinking about her character & how mesmerised I was after knowing the truth of that character, growing on time I realised that was her best
49:01 - 49:33 is by far the best part of the entire interview for me. Jaideep Ahlawat just gave the most influential advice to any aspiring actor or artist out there. And the icing on the cake is the genuine response in admiration that he got from his co-actors, director and the audience ofcourse. Both, him and Vijay Varma are truly an inspiration in today's time!

Growth is showing in her words. Haven't watched the movie yet so can't say much about it. However Kareena always had this interesting light around her at least in her expressions in movies like talaash and Dev, chameli etc where she had a good hold of the character in her expressions but not so much in the dialogue delivery plus the industry pushed her as the real life poo which only led her to become this startdom driven celebrity. Now she seems to have found that gap and have worked on it possibly because of the pushbacks she got from losing her fans due to behaviour of an entitled star background. She always had the potential and finally we will see the actor in her coming out. Looking forward to it.

Everyone will praises Vijay and Jaideep way of getting into their roles because they are trained but Kareena is actually mad talented. Her approach to a scene shouldn’t be put down just because she didn’t go to some fancy school. Kareena can do what jaideep and Vijay can do, in a moody nuance movie, but she can also do commercial movies something that these two guys can’t do. And no one will say it. But she’s the most talented out of the three.

Kareena is really carving an interesting path for herself, sooo different than any of her peers. The only other Indian actress that comes to mind is Tabu herself (and maybe Priyanka if she is still in Bollywood), as we know she is India's finest artist and all of her characters are so different than one another. This is interesting cause when you think about it not even Aishwarya or Madhuri will play Kareena's role here, nor will Deepika or Alia. Kareena is molding herself in between art cinema and blockbuster which is fun and reminds me a bit of Meryl Streep's career choice. She played big box office films and then can go and star in a TV show like Only Murders (which is a fantastic series btw).

Kareena Kapoor is so comfortable in her skin, she looks so secure in her space. She remains one of the most talented women. She is in the best phase of her life. Loved her in Jaa e jaan. Also,please ask questions in Hindi with actors who are comfortable in Hindi . Jaideep seemed to be more comfortable in Hindi and we could’ve heard so much from him if he spoke in Hindi. English was too forced on him. Hence would be good to tell people that they can answer in Hindi .

So what are you under that superficial layer? Kareena has never let that go. She is herself in front of the camera and she never lets anything come between herself and her camera. Enjoyed Jaanejaan , because its only about the expressions of the actors and the way the scenes are shot that keeps one watching. We all guessed the story in 2 mins flat or faster.

The mood and treatment of Jane jan was on point. I loved how the movie from the very first scene sets the whole mood of the entire film. Dark and hauntingly beautiful visuals shock you with a nightmare and in a few seconds make you smile about the innocence the professor has when he is practising in front of the mirror. Just watched Janejaan what a movie…. Too unique story and last 20 mins you would definitely cry and laugh and full of mixed emotions. Must watch
I love what kareena is trying to do now by choosing movies with a charachter .But its funny and sad hearing from her that she is learning to act now after so many movies and years .Just proves you dont need to have acting talent to be a hit actor in bollywood if you are a star kid ,you can learn it after 23 years and after accumulating all the wealth through looks and performing songs.Happy that the trend is changing and real actors are able to shine .

Kareena Kapoor is so comfortable in her skin, she looks so secure in her space. She remains one of the most talented women. She is in the best phase of her life. Loved her in Jaa e jaan. Also,please ask questions in Hindi with actors who are comfortable in Hindi . Jaideep seemed to be more comfortable in Hindi and we could’ve heard so much from him if he spoke in Hindi. English was too forced on him. Hence would be good to tell people that they can answer in Hindi .

Kareena is a natural and i am so happy to see she never compromises on her naturalness. Most actors start losing that. Every actor can put on latest makeup n fashion trend. So what are you under that superficial layer? Kareena has never let that go. She is herself in front of the camera and she never lets anything come between herself and her camera. Enjoyed Jaanejaan , because its only about the expressions of the actors and the way the scenes are shot that keeps one watching. We all guessed the story in 2 mins flat or faster.

The mood and treatment of Jane jan was on point. I loved how the movie from the very first scene sets the whole mood of the entire film. Dark and hauntingly beautiful visuals shock you with a nightmare and in a few seconds make you smile about the innocence the professor has when he is practising in front of the mirror. Hauntingly beautiful movie that’s the right way to describe it
