WW points always seemed like a game to me to see how much food I could eat. As a result I never got to my goal with WW. I wish they would make up their mind about oatmeal. It’s been 3 points, 5 points, and now it’s zero. 😅🥣
Laraine I understand those childhood stories. When I was in first grade, the teacher was moving chairs and she went to move mine while I was sitting in it and she blurted how much do you weigh? Like because she couldn’t budge the chair and I was totally embarrassed the way she said it. I was 7 years old and still remember it at 63. Not to mention I would always hear the hey hey hey tone from Cosbys Fat Albert cartoon. The last thing I’ll mention is I had graduated college and looking for a job. I was working at a grocery store and a coworker said you’re probably not finding a job because you’re overweight. Those things were so hurtful.
@@thedownsizedI agree with you guys, that's why we have vials to keep the sterile aspect and avoid temperature issues. Draw the medication fresh from the vial, don't buy it prefilled ever.
I started end of may of this year. Up until sept I lost between 23-25, and have not lost anything since. Any suggestions on breaking this plateau? I am recovering from broken ankle (surgery) so I’m not moving much and trying to increase my protein but it’s been a struggle not seeing the scale move. HELP!!!
Laraine, did you experience hair loss? Looks like you have thick fabulous hair. I am experiencing hair loss now after a year and wow. I am getting concerned!
About 6 months in I had a lot of hair falling out. As I went into maintenance that seemed to stop. I switched shampoos, use a silk pillowcase and scrunchies. I have all these linked on our website TheDownsized.org thedownsized.org/downsized-store/
Hello, I’m glad you were able to get out your childhood trauma. ❤❤❤
That’s great that WW added macros. The lack of it is one of the reasons that I left.
😂 SQUIRREL! 🐿️ 😂
You make this so enjoyable to listen to!
Glad you enjoyed it
Love listening to you both. You both are so informative and helpful.
Thanks so much!
I have to track because I haven’t gotten to the point where I don’t eat that much. I still have food noise and cravings.
Larraine!! Downsized pageant on the cruise!!!

Non weight related, but I would love to hear how the two of you met and perhaps see a wedding photo

I totally understand. People say hurtful things that we remember forever. We have the disease of obesity, and now we have GLP-1’s to help us!
Caught the '79' comment. Hopefully a bold golden oldie will do an interview😅
38:23 prefilled syringes aren’t necessary bad depending were they came from. You doing it yourself is bad.
LD: We do not recommend prefilled syringes.
@ I understand that. As a pharmacist it’s not “bad” depending where it came from. And how long it will be in that syringe.

Watch Allie's video from FitFlavorFun. She has some really good ideas to move a stall. It was really interesting.
Ask your Dr, but you may need to move up in dose. Also try a different shot location. I made a video on plateaus you can watch too!
