I think the clips are vital! I also agree, use the pliers you can get even from Michael’s, that have the rubber bumpers / check the jewelry making area. Totally worth the investment! Good luck to all- I’ve done it several times, but take your time!!
Great job 👏🏾 I am currently using EC A5 compact version. I would like to frankenplan it was a daily duo. I really wish EC would give us the option to let us pick our guts and color coils and ship it in a box and we create our dream planner. 🤞🏾
I will definitely try this. I bought the Academic planner and I will add the checklist planner and note pages to mine. I can't wait to try it. Rachelle in Seattle
okayy this is soo cool! will have to try this out for my next planner. I love EC planners but really wanted a weekly and daily page view so this would make all that possible. Lovely video thank you so much 😃
I always have to frankenplan mine too I feel ya 😂 I have the a5 compact, daily duo, checklist, productivity pages, and the some of the budget pages. I keep all weekly and daily pages out and snip and put them in when the next month comes. I wish ec would let you just decide the pages and which order but that’s asking too much 😂
The "A goal is a dream...with a deadline", how about take some pictures and paste it in one box and the box next to it give a brief description of what to place. Great job on your planner!🥰
A much easier way for those of us who don’t have quite that much patience. Uncoil just one planner or notebook. Take the pages that you want to add to a different planner, cut little slits in the holes, and pop those pages in your main planner wherever you want. You could technically uncoil everything, then rearrange to your hearts desire, then slit every page and pop them in (like the covers)
I wish I had the guts to do this. I just ordered my new planner and ordered the additional pages, and I wish I could have them moved up in the front of the planner. 😢
With Erin Condren I never pay full price. You can sign up to be an EC Insider so that you earn points for purchases. I save points for spending during launch. Also, the monthly planners were 50% off. EC has great sales!
Also, they have needle nose pliers that have rubber around the prongs so that you don't scratch the metal. Just for next time 👍
Came here to say the same exact thing about the rubber/plastic tipped pliers.
I think I'd rather stick a fork in my eye than recoil a planner 😂 you are a brave soul
I was gonna say the SAME thing! LOL! 😂 I uncoiled ONE and it took me H O U R S to recoil it. 😅 never ever ever again.

I am so glad I found this video. I was wondering how you inserted an add-on page.
Good work, it turned out great! Can't wait to see when you start filling it in. 🤗

I wonder if using a softer cloth would prevent any scratching? I’m excited to Frankenplan for this year. I do it all the time 😂
Oh, like a microfiber cloth.
@@devongambrell Yes! I bet it would help a a little bit.
I always use electrical tape and wrap it around prongs to prevent scratching
I use those goal pages as a when did I last, and a big project like plant this in the front yard or save x amount for a family trip.
That was really fun to watch ... thanks!
For the next round: 💡 Pliers for jewelry with the rubber on them works better. Or using a better cloth like a microfiber towel.

I applaud all of you who Frankenplan your planners. I can’t do it!! 😩😫😉😉!!
I bet you could :)
@@PlanningAnnie I probably could, but in my mind I would be committing planner murder 😂🤣😖😫!!!
I think you could get the bends out with your fingers so they don't leave a scratch or sent I've done it before and it just takes a little pressure.
ouch! 🤣

Good night how much did this cost? Don’t get me wrong I love the idea(s). I am not sure I can justify the $$$.

rather than using a paper towel, use something silicone based so you're not scratching the coil.
😂abort abort; did not help...😂
