AC3 holds a special place in my heart. Didn't understand the story that much back then. But now I understand and sympathize with Connor more and more. BTW wait till you do AC Rogue, everything starts to make sense.
When you run through Charlestown, stay on ground. You will always get hit when you try to climb. Just find the correct path to run through and that one is done. When reaching the ship, start with the right one. Just try to run on board, light up the load and jump out without killing anyone or get seen by anyone. For the second one you try to take out one soilder after another, most can be done by pulling them from the ledge into the water, until you're only left with the one you have to air assassinate. Make sure you find a spot where you can do it behind him. Then light up the load and leave, done.
@@samsungtab3977 wrong for the one on the left their ai is to sensitive at least on remastered so you have to wait for very specific times to kill guys of ledges and in this instance you can only do it to two of them the grenadier/brute/Scotsman and the ordinary guy but the brute must be kept for air assassination you wait until the normal one is at the edge and the brute is half way across the ship the brute will see the u kill him and do a weird jerking motion but the decide he's to lazy due to physics? this will the allow you to creep around the edge of the ship until you get to the stern/back of the ship. wait until the guy gets the furthest corner from the brute when the brute is staring at the port or facing starboard so that your character is on the portside corner of the stern this will allow you to air assassinate the normal guy or just high profile assassinate him and then run of the ship or go straight up the mast going straight is either riskier or impossible so when i done it a few days ago i ran off the ship and grabbed on to the side. (the brute in question is actually a grenadier but even in black flag I've never seen this guy so I'm not sure if many people not what he is but he is just a brute that only ever uses a rifle) so anyways the brute will start in walking over to investigate the body (due to timing the body will usually fall in visible area but even if it doesn't it shouldn't matter because these guys have x-ray vision or some shit) when the brute is behind the mast rung up the rope netting this will stop him from spotting you he will likely go to red but for what ever reason there is just enough time to make it to the top of the first platform ounce on plat form just air assassinate him it is possible to assassinate him from the rope netting but it is more difficult. u will be happy to know the hard part is over now all you need to do is make it over to the bow end mast their should be a sticky out part almost like a crane arm from here all you need to do is kill the guys with poison darts ( why poison darts well by the looks of it they are most inconspicuous ranged weapon u will need at least two nor sure if u can finish the last guy off loud so I just used a rope dart keep in mind that it still counts as detection when there facing you when they die so make sure there not facing you when you rope dart the last guy. hope this helps I know its long but u try explain half of a mission just through a comment section speaking of which the first ship is super easy as you said but you need to wait until the dark redcoat the goes in a circle around the deck goes for a second time because this will mean no one else looking from here it is just timing as to later or to early someone might see u plant the bomb.
18:59 In case no one told you, at the start of Sequence 4 you can see Connor reading a book, which is Ziio's diary. The speech you get when going back into the animus after Sequence 3 is the part he read before she came to him.
I have nowhere near the time to 100% any of the newer games i play so it’s an absolute joy to watch you platinum games i’ve played! super excited for the new ac platinum
Bruh this platinum made me happy. Interacting with all the homestead characters and seeing their day to day life was so interesting. I’ve never experienced a game like this. The side missions were all fun and the collectibles were easily manageable unlike the Ezio collection and gave me fun exploration. I feel your pain on the board games tho even when I tried Ai I couldn’t beat some of them. I had to watch a full tutorial and literally master the several strats to counter the noc’s approach. That was a bit pain.
Major props to you optimistic. I've been a fan of the channel and enjoyed watching your content. Keep up the great work. Blessed to see my chat message when the platinum popped. LoL. Cheers to you and great luck in futurplatinum trophies.
The worst part of playing these games is that ubisoft didn't learn soon enough that all gamers wanna pay for a 60$ game plus a 120$ skin that does nothing but adds gold to ur weapons truly the worst time in gaming 😢
I remember my struggle while doing that *"Original Gamer"* trophy back in the day on my 360, and PS4. I felt that happiness at the end brother, just like you. So good you could find that AI to help you with one the minigames, that was really helpful for me, as well.
You should platinum Terraria, it isn't too long and it's so fun. The soundtrack will make you want to ascend into the atmosphere and feed our universe in which we coexist together.
Discovered your videos through the Odyssey 100%, i thought the constant screaming would become annoying but you ended up being the definition of loud=funny (in the best way possible of course), can't wait for your syndicate 100%
Amazing video again! I really hope to join the live stream one of these days. I have a suggestion for you: I know you’re aiming to platinum all the AC games (not many left, right? ^^), so why not give the best non-AC, AC-like game a try? I’m talking about Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Of course, it’s set in the LOTR universe, but if you haven’t played it yet, it’s honestly one of the best AC-like games I’ve ever experienced. Plus, it even has a platinum trophy and is pretty affordable now! Just a friendly suggestion from an optimistic fan. ^^ I absolutely love your content, and big props to the editor (if there is one! If not, then to you! ^^).
Just wanted to recommended a soulslike game coming out next week called "Enotria: The last song" its made by Italian devs surrounding Italian folklore, it has a parry system like Lies of P and offers 3 loadouts. You play as the maskless one and go around the world of Enotria an endless play collecting theater mask with each having their own little buffs, you can also unlock 68 perks which you can equip on any mask for your playstyle, you can have 3 mask at a time and switch between them mid battle to accommodate any situation/enemy you run into, there are a total of 30+ mask. This leads to a total of 150+ Million different loadout possibilities.
I am currently playing AC3 for my next platinum (either that or Minecraft which wouldn't have been Minecraft if I didn't had the bug where the game wouldn't launch after some random update, extending the time that I need for platinum against my will). When there's one thing I always like to do what you don't have to do at all for platinum is to uncover every single small spot on every single map in the entire game. I could just use cheats to uncover all the maps but then you would end up having lots of orientation losses and would have no clue about the locations themselves. I just finished uncovering the entirety of New England (except one half of Forge Valley because I'm still in Sequence 6) and the Boston Underground and right now I'm uncovering the entirety of Boston. Just an hour ago I found a spot where you can get behind the wall at the Boston Neck that would get you to New England. For some reason that area has collisions and weird game borders. Anyway I did everything I could do up to Sequence 6 in New England and Davenport and soon Boston will be next on my list.
35:08 There are carts on the side of the house walls placed in a way that they can be used as ramps. Usually you were supposed to take those. On the bright side you found out about the optional objective before finishing that part because for some reason that doesn't pop up on the screen until you catch the guard and I ended up having to restart the mission again.
As someone who paltinum this game twice, yes I said twice (the original PS3 version and the PS4 Remastered edition) I understand this game was a grind to 100% for the first time, especially doing the missions with 100% sync. Although in the Remastered edition is way easier to complete because of the QoL changes they made to the game compared to the original PS3 version.
Hey man :) I discovered your channel some days ago and love your videos. Especially the ac odyssey video was a pleasure to watch. And since I also played that game investing almost 200 hours, I couldn't help but wonder how many hours it took you to even get all trophies. So I thought it would be a nice touch if you would show us at the end of the trophy videos how many hours you invested in the games to reach your goal ^^ anyway keep up the good work love you man and thank you for so many very enjoyable videos, glad I found you
OP made me laugh at the dlc where the guy was pinned up against the wall, I spit my drink out because he made me laugh so hard 😂 (this is why I love watching OP's video it's just him being him and making us laugh)
AC III had by far the best writing of any game post Ezio trilogy in my opinion, they crafted a great underdog story with Connor and weaved American history and culture in beautifully. The twist was executed perfectly too and definitely fooled me, when you play it again you'll see a few things that aren't quite right with Haytham but on the first playthrough it's easy to brush that off as the American branch of the Brotherhood doing things different.
I love AC3, even finishing it twice on the XB360, but for a long time, it has been my personal Most Disappointing AC Game out of the entire series, and currently still holds that spot. After finishing it the first time, I almost abandoned the series, and didn't intend to pick up Black Flag. Watching my friends play Black Flag at launch ultimately changed my mind, and playing Blag Flag myself convinced me to replay AC3. Still love the game, but there was so much potential that was ultimately fumbled.

I have every AC platinum except for Brotherhood, Revelations, and AC3...and i've got 99% on AC3. That last naval mission where you gotta blow the ships by exposing their storage was such a pain in the ass i gave up.
I hated that one so much. It was the only time I rage quit in that game the last time I went for platinum (currently doing it the second time). Apparently the best way to do that one is to max out the ship and destroy all three ship's masts so that they stand still. Then you ram into the spots where the storage is and you end up doing enough damage to expose them but not too much damage to destroy the ships. I'm still in Sequence 6 which means I will soon have to play that one too.
I remember how relieving it was when I finally platinumed this game two years ago... The homestead trophy seeing 3 different interactions per person took forever and was my final trophy

Assassin’s Creed 3 was my first experience in the AC franchise and still remains my favorite to this day.
