This is my favourite ac game of all time. Because of the ship combat. I would roam around in my jackdaw listening to sea shanties. What a peaceful time it was
10:57 ...I know I'm late to the party, but there's a small trick for these shanties... Just go straight ahead while pointing the camera to the ground...The shanties won't start flying till the camera reach them and by then you'll be too close for them to fly away (works on PC at least)
I love that each legendary ship has its own thing to try to work your way around. The Impoluto has that brutal ram, the Fearless has that outright disrespectful broadside barrage, there's the one with the mortars that always tries to keep distance...really fun. But probably the most fun I had was abandoning my ship after a long battle, swimming to each scuttled enemy vessel, and boarding them all solo to kill everyone aboard, destroy their powder reserves, and cut their colors free by myself. Especially after I got the mayan armor. And the rope dart might be my favorite way to take out snipers in the whole game. Next to berzerker darts. Gotta love having ranged support clear out a dense area of his former homies for you before keeling over. Also: a good way to get the shanties is to face the camera to point behind you. The chase is triggered both by proximity and camera orientation, so if you're not looking at the shanty when you run up on it then it'll just sit there for you. Failing all, there's always just waiting where they spawn.
The earliest you can unlock the door in Tulum is in the mission where you get the rope darts. The final Mayan Stelae is just outside the Observatory, and you have enough time the first time to get it done. Also you shouldve gotten the Golden Swivel Gun before tackling the legendary ships.
I know I’m late, but this just popped up in my feed. Black Flag is the only game I’ve ever platinumed, and I’ve done it three times on three different systems.
Tip for anyone who wants to 100% ac4 (for some reason) the songs doesn't start running away from you until you see them with the camera, so if you just point the camera to the ground or sky you can get really close to it... also you are able to finish the sleep darts side quest on the first try, you just need to replenish the darts from dead guards.
Replenishing from the dead guards is the smart strat and what I did later. I should've mentioned it you're right. I was tired the first time I played it so I didn't loot... lol

@@nananakeson I had to redo I think 9 missions but I mentioned in the video too that I only showed a few of the more “interesting” ones because I think showcasing missions where I tail the target for two minutes isn’t as fun
Yeah, i did everything to get platinum in story mode only to realize you have to grind online too Goodbye to that platinum for me i guess, no way i’m doing that

Mp Online section, is not that bad at all, level 55 grind can be done quickly in wolf pack coop solo took me about 8 or so hours. Boring but way quick than pubs. You just need to play pubs for one of each different game modes, bodyguard is only ability you have Fire off in pubs. As there are no pursuers in wolf pack. Everything else can be done in solo wolfpack for platinum.
I got 100% synchronization, all the animus challenges, all craftables, outfits, swords, pistols, and optional objectives in story missions yesterday. I started in October.
Man i feel you i am doing the entire ac series to platinum right now so far i am at the last and its unity and the Grind for both Black flag and unity are just a pain so all i have to say is congrats man you earned it 🎉
Unity is so much pain but black flag online stuff is torture imo especially for the one with play all modes and use each ability and throwable once in multiplayer
@@دانيمان For the All Rounder trophy, you need to play at least one match of Manhunt, Artifact Assault, Domination, Wanted, Deathmatch, Assassinate, and Wolfpack Unleashed. You can do private matches for them as it still counts. You'd still need to do Game Lab on public for the trophy if you're going for the platinum.
I personally love the ship combat in AC:BF. it is by far my favorite maybe 2nd behind Origins, but only because the voice acting, Bayek really sold the emotion in his dialogue
Don't know if I'm late brother, but because of their suspicion, for example in one mission Stede calls him Edward and The Rogers asked edward about it, edward replied with that's the sailor he sailed with to Havana soo he gave him a false name, also in the mission where sage is introduced, Torress askes edward before sailing for havana did he killed the Assassins master to which edward replies there were complications soo he couldn't which ironically was true because later in the story we even meet the Assassin master Ah tabai, so to this torress replies that but the maps you delivered assures the jobs done, which means they got suspicion and when they finally saw edward in the castle where sage was locked up it became apparent that he's a rogue trying to impersonate Duncan, it's not really that hard if you notice the story details
I liked everything. Chasing that guy for the kill to get the medicine was a pain in the ass getting right though. As for trying to take one of those forts with water spouts, rogue waves and enemy ships all going on, geez!
The fire barrels are useless until you have a whole fleet of ships coming after you and you have to evade them while several tornados are surrounding your ship and for some reason you also decided to attack an outpost, so you're also having to dodge mortars at the same time. love this game 100/100
Anybody recognized when he was fighting the guys in the tavern, that the song from Kingdom Hearts was playing, felt the Nostalgia right there, maybe you should try to get the platinums on there, I did the first one and it put me through absolute HELL
I finished the black flag on pc last week, it was the perfect pirate game I loved it even though it has the shittiest optimization. I played it for around 50 hours I fully upgraded my ship, and I collected all the mayan stones but bro if I have to be honest platinuming this game really requires patience, you are incredible!
Yo sha if you liked black flag that much you would probably enjoy rogue a ton too! Very similar ship mechanics and you get a different perspective on the the conflict of templars and assassins.
Shay is more of an Assassin than the other Assassins so he joins the Templars. I love the game but the story is its weakest asset by a country mile. Also, a rogue doesn't jump from one group to another, they are separate, alone, strayed. There are ship parts called "lone wolf", another term for a rogue, so the devs knew what it ffffing means.
This gives me hope. I plan on platinuming black flag after a long hiatus the multiplayer trophies will forever suck but i try to be optimistic about it.

Also amazing how a lot of people don't know how to use fire barrels lol, just wait until the enemy ship passes close behind you and unload your explosive fury! Honestly AC games are fun. It doesn’t bother me that they don’t reinvent the wheel with their releases because they kind of pioneered this style of game. Games are meant to be fun and their games are pretty fun imo. Also thanks! I can’t wait for SMB either 👀

First assassin game I ever played and I played it every day. I beat the game and just got all of the outfits and weapons and fully upgraded the jackdaw. After that I would just Raid every man o war I saw and they never stood a chance.
People hate this game but honestly it's one of my favorite AC games. I absolutely loved the ship battles, especially the 4 legendary ships, that was a BLAST.
I was listening to the video on another tab... and then heard "El Impoluto"... instantly triggering traumatic flashbacks I had to trying to beat that thing XD
Im only missing the online trophies. Same happened on the PS3. The online really messed my plat. Same with TLoU for a while, until I finally got to complete the online.
I love this game but the platinum trophy has made me despite any game that have multiplayer trophies included as a platinum requirement if the main game is single player. The level 55 achievement took so long to grind around 15 to 20 hours and i had to split it over multiple days just grinding wolfpack over and over again. I dont recommend going for this unless youve got alot of time to kill
So, for anyone there that's as fuckin done as I am with the musics, there's a tip that still works on Ac4 and Rogue (I think it works on 3 too with the encyclopedia pages, but I'm not sure) If you do not have the camera looking at the musics it just doesn't move, you can just get close, out che camera being Edward and walk on the direction of the music and easily grab it.
Yeah, I've beaten the game like 3-4 times without knowing that. It's just good to let the tip for more people or for when you're going for Rogue. I think that game it's even easier to platinum, but boy it has so many collectibles
Literally came here because I'm about to do a plat run for Black Flag, it's good to know the multiplayer ones are still attainable, I thought they were gonna ruin it for me. Does that mean the trophy for sharing an event is still available too? First game is still my favourite, always will be tbh, but I just got done getting plat for all the remasters, the minigame trophy for III was *the worst*.
gl its a bit too forgiving, but I prefer the stealth in this than ACU ngl. ACU is the opposite where if you fart 30 miles within range of a random guard, they all swarm you at once. Not to mention, enemies can shoot you through walls and windows sometimes. But I love both games. But when they go wrong it really takes you back to earth. I just wanna be an assassin/pirate lol. Also, feck the real world stuff, it just reminds me youre playing a game. They should present the console you own as its own animus. That would be cool. Great vid man love this keep it up
ALso , love the sleep darts and the whistle is so underrated. I was shcoked going back to Unity and you can't whistle. It would make the game ten times better as asassin fantasy. Sure I can hide, but I cant manipulate them without leaving my cover and throwing some sparky boys. And the ego (stay with me) that NPCs have in AC4 feel real. The human ego thinks often ''surely, if tehre was a guys neking around, I'd notice'' so them acting so dumb and being taken out that way is actually peretty realistic. Even being seen once, the ego will doubt itself and say did I really see that? It's not stupidity, more pride. So easy as they are in this game, the average soldier/mercenary wouldnt be that adept, especially with a normal ego most folks have that would say ''we would notice''.
I never played through ACU fully. I’ve started and quit that game twice. It just doesn’t feel as good as Black Flag does. I also just didn’t like the setting because it looked so colorless. I hear the parkour is really good so maybe I should go back and give it a shot for that
what a great game, almost platted it but 2 multiplayer trophies stopped me from earning it but fair play for defeating all legendary without using the glitch which i used and made it extremely easier par the double ships
Platinum the ezio collection.Theres no multiplayer the story is good in all of the games and the puzzles and side missions are pretty fun. I platinumed ac2 and am going for brotherhood and revelations and its pretty fun.

18:51 this is easily the hardest out of the 4 legendary ships i happened to beat the one he does as last and i barely struggled with the ones i had done until then and this one was super hard i needed countless of attempts
Got it but the hardest part was the 100% sync in one mission (I guess) sequence 6. there you need to ram a boat with the ram 3 but I already got the elite ram. So I need to start the whole story.
I tried 100%ing ac4 but I upgraded my ship too fast and made a story mission impossible because it requiresa lower level cannon. Now I'm permanently stuck at 99% on my first playthrough and I haven't had the patience to retry it
I just found your channel and really liked this video along with your Trek to Yomi video, I really liked the free roam of the sailing and ship combat in my original playthrough of Black Flag. The multiplayer is the only reason I'm thinking about playing this game again.
That's what I like about consoles. You don't have 69 different launchers to play the game. Also many PC ports for some reason don't have achievements when it comes to the steam version of the game. I only realised that ever since I got into achievement hunting at the start of this year and now it really annoys me.
Black Flag is the ONLY one i havent platinumed. My mate from my old job is just started to play it and is starting with the online to get it out the way. Out of curiosity i reinstalled it, im lvl 30. So i just got 20 levels to go and 7 weapons / abilities to be used and i got the plat. Easy really. Maybe a few hours. Might be doing that in the next few days.

I like the ship combat because you can cheese it where you kill everyone by sneaking on the ship first
Funny thing is when you try to kill Burgess and Cockram is that you can just use your pistols in your chain shot thing

Best way to defeat any ship is by not going into a ship fight. Hop off your ship and hop on their kill everyone, get back on yours and one shot it lol

When you wanna use the barrels on ship combat you should ram, then broadside and then turn to chuck the barrels at their broadside.
People hate this game but honestly it's one of my favorite AC games. I absolutely loved the ship battles, especially the 4 legendary ships, that was a BLAST.
I was listening to the video on another tab... and then heard "El Impoluto"... instantly triggering traumatic flashbacks I had to trying to beat that thing XD

Im only missing the online trophies. Same happened on the PS3. The online really messed my plat. Same with TLoU for a while, until I finally got to complete the online.
I love this game but the platinum trophy has made me despite any game that have multiplayer trophies included as a platinum requirement if the main game is single player. The level 55 achievement took so long to grind around 15 to 20 hours and i had to split it over multiple days just grinding wolfpack over and over again.
I dont recommend going for this unless youve got alot of time to kill

I loved this game and loved the naval combat too, only achievements im missihg are the mp ones
So, for anyone there that's as fuckin done as I am with the musics, there's a tip that still works on Ac4 and Rogue (I think it works on 3 too with the encyclopedia pages, but I'm not sure)
If you do not have the camera looking at the musics it just doesn't move, you can just get close, out che camera being Edward and walk on the direction of the music and easily grab it.

Yeah, I've beaten the game like 3-4 times without knowing that. It's just good to let the tip for more people or for when you're going for Rogue. I think that game it's even easier to platinum, but boy it has so many collectibles

Literally came here because I'm about to do a plat run for Black Flag, it's good to know the multiplayer ones are still attainable, I thought they were gonna ruin it for me. Does that mean the trophy for sharing an event is still available too?
First game is still my favourite, always will be tbh, but I just got done getting plat for all the remasters, the minigame trophy for III was *the worst*.

I recently did this one and It was so amazing Until the online trophy’s. The onlines not even that bad it’s just pain involved in getting to level 55.
You can easily kill the legendary ships without a maxed out boat you just go slow and stay behind them so they can’t hit you

gl its a bit too forgiving, but I prefer the stealth in this than ACU ngl. ACU is the opposite where if you fart 30 miles within range of a random guard, they all swarm you at once. Not to mention, enemies can shoot you through walls and windows sometimes. But I love both games. But when they go wrong it really takes you back to earth. I just wanna be an assassin/pirate lol. Also, feck the real world stuff, it just reminds me youre playing a game. They should present the console you own as its own animus. That would be cool. Great vid man love this keep it up
ALso , love the sleep darts and the whistle is so underrated. I was shcoked going back to Unity and you can't whistle. It would make the game ten times better as asassin fantasy. Sure I can hide, but I cant manipulate them without leaving my cover and throwing some sparky boys. And the ego (stay with me) that NPCs have in AC4 feel real. The human ego thinks often ''surely, if tehre was a guys neking around, I'd notice'' so them acting so dumb and being taken out that way is actually peretty realistic. Even being seen once, the ego will doubt itself and say did I really see that? It's not stupidity, more pride. So easy as they are in this game, the average soldier/mercenary wouldnt be that adept, especially with a normal ego most folks have that would say ''we would notice''.
I never played through ACU fully. I’ve started and quit that game twice. It just doesn’t feel as good as Black Flag does. I also just didn’t like the setting because it looked so colorless. I hear the parkour is really good so maybe I should go back and give it a shot for that
I tried playing this on PS5 and all the shadows and lighting flicker everywhere. Made it unplayable
what a great game, almost platted it but 2 multiplayer trophies stopped me from earning it but fair play for defeating all legendary without using the glitch which i used and made it extremely easier par the double ships
Platinum the ezio collection.Theres no multiplayer the story is good in all of the games and the puzzles and side missions are pretty fun. I platinumed ac2 and am going for brotherhood and revelations and its pretty fun.

I have tryed to platinum assassins creed 2, 3 and 4. The three of them had a collectable bugged that prevented me from getting the platinum.

also a little side rant but still relatable to this vid. multiplayer trophies should not be in the main trophy list ! if devs want to have multiplayer trophies, they should do a separate list for them lol

18:51 this is easily the hardest out of the 4 legendary ships
i happened to beat the one he does as last and i barely struggled with the ones i had done until then and this one was super hard i needed countless of attempts
I'm so glad I did the multiplayer first. I did it a while ago and will probably go back and do the rest soon.

Got it but the hardest part was the 100% sync in one mission (I guess) sequence 6. there you need to ram a boat with the ram 3 but I already got the elite ram. So I need to start the whole story.

I tried 100%ing ac4 but I upgraded my ship too fast and made a story mission impossible because it requiresa lower level cannon. Now I'm permanently stuck at 99% on my first playthrough and I haven't had the patience to retry it
this games was a good pirate game but also a good ac game

The online grind was really something

I just found your channel and really liked this video along with your Trek to Yomi video, I really liked the free roam of the sailing and ship combat in my original playthrough of Black Flag. The multiplayer is the only reason I'm thinking about playing this game again.

That's what I like about consoles. You don't have 69 different launchers to play the game. Also many PC ports for some reason don't have achievements when it comes to the steam version of the game.
I only realised that ever since I got into achievement hunting at the start of this year and now it really annoys me.
Black Flag is the ONLY one i havent platinumed. My mate from my old job is just started to play it and is starting with the online to get it out the way. Out of curiosity i reinstalled it, im lvl 30. So i just got 20 levels to go and 7 weapons / abilities to be used and i got the plat. Easy really. Maybe a few hours. Might be doing that in the next few days.
