@kcgrailgilbert8466 is it sound? Ironically I, too have a Athearn Genesis Norfolk Southern SD70 that barely runs as well. I suspect it needs a new decoder. It's a yellow box Genesis. So it's an older model.
Right in the garage lol. Nothing happens to em. I done been out there to run when it's 10 degrees out. I fire up the propane heater then run the trains. Sometimes the engines may be a little stiff starting off but if they're lubed then should be no issues.
