Russ, it was very dry here. Finally got some rain. Beans are starting to look a lot better.
Keep the faith with my friend.
Corn will make what it makes. I’m banking on a good soybean crop. We have some good rain chances over the next week.

We are getting plenty of rain now so corn should do a little better. It’s the right time for the soybeans.

You can thank us for that rain. We Cut 5 acres of hay trying to make it rain. It did, but it all went south of us. Just got enough to settle the dust. Didn't even register in the rain gauge

Glad you got some rain we didn't get any today 70 percent tomorrow they say we are really dry but all the early corn here looks good most every stalk has two big ears. Yep it's a Damn shame that they tried to kill president Trump . I've been afraid it would happen. But God was looking out for him.

Hope the rain you got and I hope you get it the next few days and more will help your corn fill out more. It is what it is and we all have to do the best we can with the conditions. People are getting farther and farther away from God and that's not good and you are so right about the hatred in their hearts. Northern va. No rain in weeks and very high heat. Knee high corn in tassle. No second cutting hay. And water for cattle becoming a concern

@Thomasfarmstn it's bad Russ. I'm 63 been in it long time really don't remember 2 years straight. He has a big farm for pasture several hundred acres however the water is getting slow. Have river bottom but can't let them access it due to new state laws. Cattle in the water. Vla bla

Hard to say if the rain will help how hot has it been.
95 and above is what hurts. We haven’t really had many days above 95. Also the nights have been relatively cool. Won’t know the number until we harvest.

We been getting rain rain rain here i have hay down that maybe ill just put through a copper and blow back on the field. That is terrible with Trump im glad he is okay. I'm in Southern il and we just received 3.5 inches flood and 25 miles west got over6.5 inches

I was watching a shower we were getting on the radar when that storm hit you.
Man I’ve watched the radar for weeks, been running out about the time it got here. What we got last weekend came out from nowhere.
If there are lots of other farmers in the same boat as you, maybe prices will rebound some. I don't understand all the hate either. I feel like people with different views can't hardly have a discussion with one another anymore....
USDA says it’s a bumper crop. I can agree to disagree with someone. But too many pushing their 💩 on everyone
Is basis decent in that area? Our soybean basis is usually good due to local bio plant. Corn is not as good.
Crops look good around here though.
Basis on corn can be + or -. We have a lot of chicken feed plants here so it’s all about demand. We usually have a positive basis on beans.
I think we need to quit looking at the radar. We might be scaring it away.
