The problem I have is a lot of these guys are just using the Bama logo to parlay into a bigger NIL deal somewhere else. How many ever had inentions on actually contributing to the program winning another title? At some point there needs to be guard rails on NIL.
They came to bama thinking they were going to play, all these guys are sitting behind someone better than them, and they will spend their entire 4 years at bama sitting behind better players. NIL plays a part, but ultimately these guys want to go to the NFL and none of them are going make it by sitting behind someone else.
I think that’s what’s going to happen next and that’s what needs to happen. We’re not going to get NIL and the transfer portal under control without a collective bargaining agreement.

You’re right. He was probably our fourth or fifth best corner this year but the thing about Bak is he should be playing both ways. He is an electric playmaker with the ball in his hands, and there’s no reason he should be standing on the sidelines when we need playmakers on the field.
