- The Orbea Oiz is among the winningest cross-country bikes available, winning under men and women alike who value its lightweight frame, pedaling efficiency, and aggressive geometry. And while some might scoff at 120mm suspension travel on a lightweight XC bike, its updated geometry and features mean the Orbea Oiz bike is one of the fastest available anywhere.

Super explanation!!!
thank God ,they put oversized bearings . the older models was to small. either every 3 months to 6 months you have to change them. you always have to be checking the bearings ,if not it will cause a lot of issues . was going change brands . but might buy a next oiz
Hi! What size will you recommend for 186 cm height?
Great video here. Thanks. Weight of this one. Is that a large?
it was just around 23 lbs!!
Wondering where you all got those wall mount tire holders at the bottom of the counter?
Unfortunately, Cannondale made these for their stores and showrooms, and we were lucky enough to ask them to manufacture some for us, but they are unable to order from them.
Any sense of what color that bike is? I don’t see that color offered on Orbea’s website.
In the OMX frame it is offered in a Dark Purple and Raw Carbon or a Light Pink and Raw Carbon. You can also custom paint it if you would not want those.
What BB are they running on the Oiz?
Threaded BSA, and then whatever spindle width your crank needs.
Can you do rockgardens and drops with this bike?
For a Cross Country Race bike this handle drops and rock gardens well, but if you don't plan on racing I would recommend closer to a trail or enduro bike. I would check out the video about the Santa Cruz Hightower on our channel if you would be interested in that.
Thank you, I mainly do racing so this sounds perfect. I heard a lot of carbon XC fully mountainbikes breaking their frames so I was looking for an aluminum. Do you have more XC fully recommendations who can handle soms small drops jumps and rockgardens?
HI, I'm 70,4 in tall. What frame size would you recommend for me?
I would recommend either a medium or large. You are right inbetween sizes. Go medium if you want a super playful bike, or large if you want it to be a little bit more stable.
@@ContenderBicycles Thanks for the reply. That's what I think, too. The day after tomorrow I'm going to try them out because I've found them in both sizes in my city. Can't wait!
@@maciejstarak4817 Have you been on them, which one did you prefer? I am 178cm, so almost the same as you have to order a size without riding the bikes...no test bikes here at the moment....
Hi, yes, I have. Size L seems to fit me fine. But size M also! My style of riding prefers size M I think. The M size bike is more playful, turns a bit better. I will buy M for me because I will be riding it in a forest, on singletracks among trees so I need a bike which is more agile. But size L was also very comfortable. Hope I could help :)
@@maciejstarak4817 Glad to hear it. With this sort of thing we always want to know so we can help people in the future.
Oiz. not Oiweeez. You guys sell it but don't know how to say the name? its literally ON Orbeas youtube videos of how they say it.
We have a fun Tik Tok and TH-cam short on this where we asked people how to pronounce it, most of our staff says "oiweez" but yes, pronounced more like "oi-eth" is the proper Spanish way.
