Haha really, Who have you been listening to then? Everyone has something bad to say about Nasser. Palumbo, Priest, Sarcev, Valentino, Aceto, Kamali... The list goes on. I personally love his physique and consider his 1997 2nd place finish to be robbery, but most of the guys from the 90s would say he wasn't the most sincere and honest person, to put it lightly
Nasser was a very intelligent men and very smart he say what he think some of the guys don't like that
Matěj Chalupa Kamali would say that nasser is one of his best friends.
Then you need to get your hearing aids checked. He was amazing. But definitely controversial.

With all due respect for Dorian, I think the best version of Nasser deserved to beat the worst version of Yates...
@TheLusianPopa side chest and bdb belong to Nasser. Dorian didn't have left arm and his lack of symmetry was enough to strip bdb from him. His glutes and hams were not diced either. There's no way that Dorian won the side triceps since hiss gut was bloated and it was thick as hell. On the other hand Nasser had near-perfect s/t. Overall Nasser won, because he was more complete and he didn't have any flaws. It's not always about mandatories, but proportions, symmetry and overall stage presence and class.
@TheLusianPopa there's no comparison when it comes to back, i agree. But i was telling that Dorian's glutes and hams were not at their best, neither his whole physique. But those biceps are still eye sore, take a look at Dorian's melted arm, there's nothing there. The pose is called Back double biceps for a reason. You have to take biceps and back into condiseration first, then 3 shoulder heads, traps, glutes, hams, calves, forearms ect... Those melted arms just got dwarfed next to Nasser's peakier guns. But Dorian killed kim in the central part. So it's tough call even after so many debates about this very pose, but for completeness factor, Nasser took it imo. One thing was sure, Dorian didn't have the best triceps out there, but his execution was flawless. For those abs i would give the s/t to Nasser. And i think his triceps were better as well. Just like Roelly, he has the best tris ever, but cannot pose for god's sake. Either way, that's also a very controversial pose too, but i would not give the title to wide-waisted-torn mess.
97 nasser may of been robbed as also later on I also think Markus Ruhl was robbed ....dwarfed Ronnie the 1 year lacked triceps but was 300 pound ripped ...but back and legs wins competitions hands down 🙌.... but also your speaking language has a big factor ....and need to be of use for advertisements etc etc ....

A true legend of the sport and one of the best competitors. Very classy and humble. In our eyes, you were the true winner in 1997's Mr. Olympia. It was very unfortunate that the ones who ran the show didn't judge based on merit.
