Wod pvp was still fun, just same old problems, content droughts but pvps all that mattered and it was fun still.
It had good things, bgs,gearing and class design was good for pvp. But I remeber bad 3s,long matches and meta didnt change for 3 seasons
Man I liked WoD, that was ret in its peak. Improved seals added such a skill deferential among players

Not gonna lie i always liked wod bc i only did pvp i never payed attention to pve. (Btw wod zones look so clean idk why)
The artifacts were good because they were spec based, not class.
They added a lot of things that you could eventually unlock completely. That is good. Should have just continued with that instead of making new systems that are so inferior to artifacts it's not even funny.
The best thing they could have done was make ap account wide, and improve artifacts each patch/expansion, like add a 2nd rank of gold traits, new traits, new gold traits etc, slowly overtime.
Would take a shitty pve expansion with a good pvp gearing system any day

I have a great time leveling in Classic WoW. I have played Classic or rather Vanilla wow for maybe 4 or 5 years now. I've never been in a raid outside of UBRS. I could see why you don't enjoy leveling in classic if you playing 12 hours a day everyday. But for the people who play 2-4 hours a day, or maybe less. Leveling IS the game. Outside of collecting end game dungeon loot. Farming items for professions, yada yada. Guess how many dungeon 0.5 sets I have. It's fun stuff! Just s different playstyle from the ones the streamers showcase.
Ashran war Poggers. farmed there like 4-6 hrs a day. Sadly its dead... leveled so much chars aswell and geared easy trough ashran aswell, collecting those bags

Unfortunately this is when I quit wow the first time just before the launch.
WoD has some of the hottest mogs around, those dungeon challenge mode weps are so hot. Wish I stuck around for those at least but my comp pooped the bed back then 😅
WoD is used as a bad measuring stick BECAUSE the only good feature was instanced PvP. We all may love arenas but it's undeniable that pvpers are the smallest section of WoW players. Challenge modes were consumed by a tiny fraction of the player base, the Raids, while BRF is considered one of the best raids of all time it doesn't change the fact that HFC was around for an eon. The game simply had nothing to do outside of pvp, which is why the expansion is so reviled. Also the guy in the video glosses over it, WoD had THE worst launch of the modern WoW era. The game was unplayable for the majority of players for the first two weeks. If you were Horde and on a Large server your garrison was a death trap that would lock you out of the game the rest of the week.
It was the start of the worst gameplay because the player became THER hero and started a lot of solo content. In a MMO you don't want bodyguard of mission table you want other players to play with everything. In that sense the LFG tool is right the solo content or everything you can do solo is wrong

WoD wasn't bad by any means. It gives that negative effect mostly because there wasn't much content. It had good class design and fun raids. But God the content drought was horrid.
Some of the content that was in wasn’t really good either: ashran, apexis dailies, tanaan jungle, garrisons. Wod was like going to a restaurant where one table gets served the best food the place has to offer, while the other table only gets served the worst possible food.
We pay $15 bucks a month and buy the damn expansion...they should not just abandon it. Can we do a class action lawsuit?

The reason I hated wod was that all classes felt bad to play, everyone lost too many spells
with wod.
It only got worse after wod ended. Imo wod class design was fine(was still similar to mop's), but legion actually messed it all up.

It wasnt even that bad it's true. It's just the neckbeards who sub and play wow literally 24/7 after launch and don't have a life that we're pissed off because there wasn't enough patched updates in quick succession. I for one liked it and never really stick around for half a year after an expansion hits after wotlk/Cata times.

when all wow news gives players existential blizzard crisis sadge. channel ur inner tyler1. also avid overwatch player here. the same company that used to make good games. copies paladins, but paladins did it first, free and is actually more fun. like wtf is this shit. kekw blizzard doing anything? even their other games are losing players and dead servers :c

Savix I realy think you should take a look at GW2 , it has pretty much everything you say that a good mmo should have plus for a pvp andy like you they do a ballance patch every two weeks , some times every week.
lol im not a baby, yet i get severe motion sickness and cannot even sit in the back of a car or on a bus/train. i get so motion sick after anesthesia that i start throwing up and start cursing the nurses
Yeah it's a terrible take by Savix. Many players in the top guilds at the time ahd motion sickness during the fight. It wasn't a problem because it was one of the easiest fights in the raid but if that mechanic was on say Blackhand the fight would be hated. Much like the gunship from ICC. it's the easiest fight in the raid and because of that it can do a cool cinematic bossfight.
No just no wod was not good even if the raids were not bad does not make up for everything else that it lacked or that was half assed. I personally hated pvp not just assram but arena as well.
Savix is really out of touch with how wow is developped.

WoD was awful, it was the biggest downgrade of an xpac from MoP in the history of the game. the great pruning was the single worst patch ever
Wod had the best class design out of all of the expansions. Mop overbloated the specs and homogenised them too much to the point where everyone had answers for everything. The only thing that mattered was whether some of them had immunities or not and who did the most dps. WoD brought them back in rails and added a lot of amazing stuff like bloodtalons for ferals or baked in SOO 4set for rets. There was also cataclysm, meteors, moving consecrations and multistrike as a stat. Legion was the bigger downgrade out of the two of them and rid us of decent combat/sub rogues, demo/destro locks, hunters and prot/ret paladins. Then in BFA the flaws showed instantly for the other specs too when we dropped the band aid-artifacts and leggos and were left with the basic kit.
@@hristopavlov298 this is a nuanced and still incredibly wrong take. The finer points that were good and bad about those xpacs aren't wrong but it is ultimately a question about the VOLUME of correct or incorrect class design decisions. Mop, despite the huge amount of over buffed specs, was widely enjoyed more than WoD, bfa or legion
