Interesting! The B side is kind of like a trick lane trick taker (like Monster Trick), but trick lanes can combine or be blocked because of the pyramid structure.
Oh yeah, it works super well!!
Great video! I definitely need to play more TS games! I find that B-sides play really fascinating!
Yesss! TS is the BeSt!! And it really it! Kinda what i wanted from Chronicle 🤔👀😏
This was one I really wanted from New Mill but it also was the only one sold out by the time I clicked on the link. Maybe someday I can get it, but I’m also filling up my shelves with TTs and climbers/shedders.
Hopefully it will be more available soon, OFT! And love to hear about a full tt/climb shedding shelf!
HA!! I saw that... you pulled a fast one in the very first trick, sneaking the 12 under the 13, and then claiming 13 was the lowest card in the trick. No more trick taking games for you m'lad! 😂
This looks like a fantastic little package, and I love the cassette box, brilliant idea. The way the points are sored is really good, but just to be clear, suppose you won two tricks in different suits, and they both added up to zero, would you still get the fifteen point bonus, or does that only apply if one trick is win?
The B side looks great too, definitely one I'd be happy to play, although for me, the A side is more to my taste.
Great video as always there mate, even if you did get caught cheating this time.
Hahahaa you caught me, WK!! I totally get the A preference, that seems much more trick-taker feeling!
Thanks so much for the kind words, and i'll try not to cheat again haha!
I love this, I wish more games really pushed their thematic production values more! My favorite example of this is with the game New York Slice! It's a game about collecting pizza slices, the game box is shaped and opens like a pizza box, the rulebook is formatted like a restaurant menu and the score pad is like a check.
Oh mannnnn, Tanner!! Amazing point with NYS, that's such an amazing example! I hope more are like this!!
This looks pretty good! Always a pleasure to discover something new through you, Table! 🙏😇
Thanks a million for coming on thw journey, Max!!!
the whole cassette thing makes me think of making a card game with holes where the spindles would go, since some cassette boxes have pegs... no other thought behind it, other than it could look cool
you could also style the cards to look like cassettes on the back side to fit the theme even better
Ahhhhjj i love that, Nikolaj!! What another addition to that thematic packaging!! Cheers!!
@@ClaudeAndTaylor always love your enthusiasm, Taylor :)
Solenia (not a trick taker) has cards with a hole in them and it is pretty cool
I'm all about that B-side, baby!
HUGE B SIDE HIT!!
Thanks for the review, Taylor. Both look interesting and very playable. What’s the availability like on this cassette version? Only in Japan?
Cheers, Topaz!!! It looks like mostly Japan right now, but I've heard whispers of more availability soon, so here's hoping!
sorry i didn't catch who designed this?
It was YOU!
