Only just discovered your channel, but I am here to stay! I've barely read any of these, but your excitement for them makes me excited to get to them. Also, never enough LotR love!! Cheers 🥰
Your love of fantasy follows my own path. I was obsessed with the Narnia books as a child and would read them over and over and over again. I read LOTR at age 13 when the box set first came out in the early 70's and then in my late teens I began reading Anne McCaffrey's dragon books. That took me into fantasy becoming my favourite genre. David Eddings, Kathrine Kurtz, Raymond Feist and on to my favourite fantasy author Jacqueline Carey and her Kushiel's Dart series.
Hi Kyra, it's Liz! I've been having fun catching up with you through your videos :) I'm ashamed to admit I still haven't read the Lord of the Rings books yet, although I re-watch the movies with my husband every year! Maybe I'll try to prioritize reading them for 2025 😅 My favorite books right now are any of the book in the Realm of the Elderling series by Robin Hobb! They're definitely very dense books, but Hobb's character work is just fantastic. I'm only 5 books into the series so far though, and I think there are 16 books in total so I still have a lot to go! I also really love the Strange the Dreamer duology by Laini Taylor. It was a bit of a booktube darling a few years ago but I don't really hear many ppl talk about it much anymore. I still absolutely love it though - it has very lyrical writing, wonderful worldbuilding, and I just love the way the story weaves together.
Hi Liz!! Thank you so much for watching! I have the first in the Farseer Trilogy so I really need to bump them up on my TBR. I’ve heard they are amazing to read ❤️ I’ve heard of Strange the Dreamer too but don’t know much about it. I’ll have to check it out 😊😊
I have found that Enders Game is the superior book but Enders Shadow is the superior series. If you’ve never read it, you really should. It delves into everything you wished the Enders Game series did.

You have gotten me interested in cozy mysteries. Agree they are fun during fall and winter. Looking forward to some you recommend.
