    Thank you so much for sharing about demonstrations of the coagulation and flocculation process, and I just found out how it works. we can add a coagulant and polymer.

    Hey they have an affordable course that teaches everything you need to know. I don't work for them but I've learned a lot thus far and I'm about a quarter of the way through

    thank you for the explanation sir, basically the particulate matter in surface water carry a negative charge the it’ll be neutralized by the coagulant that contain positive charge (which is aluminium sulfate) after they neutralized they’ll start to flocculate together this is how coagulation and flocculation works.

    Thank you very much sir for the explanation, on this occasion I learned a lot in this video about using polymer can make microfloc to macrofloc and flocculation process have impact to sedimentation process.

    Hello . Date of seeking an answer to question! Feb 18 2024. 149am 😅
    But..... my question , that needs an answer !?
    Is the treated water bad? If the water fizzles when using hot water only.
    I filled hot water into a milk container and about 20 seconds later , The water started to bubble up / fizzle up.
    Why this question?! Well, i went to a water treatment training faclitie ! And i vaguely remember hearing the trainer say ! If water fizzles at anytime of the year! Yiu need to change up the mixture to what is being used!! So its barely in my memeory now. But im seeking confirmation!
    And what happens when being around this type of water ! For years ??

    Thank you this information is very petrified. Coagulation Fundamentals of flocculation. The first one
    The negatively charged colloid is converted into charge neutralization and microfloc bridges occur to from macrofloc

  • @RidwanAjiPradana
    @RidwanAjiPradana 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    easy to under stand, first stage is microfloc then macrofloc

    can we do the filtration first instead of coagulation?

    • @TheInertBoyz
      @TheInertBoyz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes , but once you perform coagulation, you will again need to perform filtration.

    what is the "polymer"? Is it polyacrylamide? hope not, its toxic, not making things better by adding toxic flocculants

    After this process what will happend "pH value"

    • @yohanasimon5190
      @yohanasimon5190 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      PH increase will lead to Gud settlement due to attraction force of positive charges

    • @aswatha.s
      @aswatha.s 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Basically, the pH would decrease with the addition of a coagulant (as the coagulants are acidic salts). Hence it is important to make certain that the pH is kept within the range after the addition of coagulant.
