I Bloody Love It!! Had a 1957 DBD 34, 53 years ago, when I was eighteen! Miss it like crazy!

Thats a cracking bike, especially with the leccy start. No getting into a lather kickstarting if it conks out at the lights or anything.

Was there ever a nicer looking or sounding bike than the Gold Star. I think not! RRT2 as well by the sound of things. Lovely example too.

Great bike. Can never understand why owners don’t fit transparent pipes on the oil tank so you can see the oil being pumped to and fro without taking the filler cap off. It gives instant peace of mind and let’s face it, if it ain’t pumping, by the time you’ve got the filler cap off the engine’s seized.

It's great that enough people riding Gold 🪙 Stars that they spend money on their bikes to have electric starters on them to make them easier to start so they can go for a ride.

Some bikes are worth paying extra money for but I think that’s Ogris bike and he probably wants it back

Peter, where is the electric starter located on the bike?? Couldn't spot it. Nice ride of course. 😁

The starter is under the primary just in front of the box.

Shame it's been buggered around with. All those upgrades don't qualify it as a Gold Star, by my standards. I had an original 1959 DBD 34 Clubman's and if I were buying another, it would have to be bog-standard.
