Awesome to see your whole session, ‘mistakes’ and all. I have almost the same board as you - in 113l. Some of the things you do are similar to my errors! I notice, you seem to put your back foot in the rear foot strap first, and keep the front foot forward until you plane, which is something I might try 👍 I find there is a very narrow window of a few seconds for me between getting on the plane and complete and utter warp-speed, whereupon getting into the very outboard rear strap in heavy wind swell and chop, becomes absolutely terrifying 😂

Hey, I'm interested in the 113l version. What sail sizes are you running on your 113l rocket? And if it's not too cheeky, what do you weigh? Do you have any experience with the blue carbon fin of the team version? Is it worth the higher price?
It's not to easy to find someone who has experiences with the exact board I'm interested in :)

Hey, no worries. I’ve only just got the board and used it a few times. Mine is the Team Rocket Plus version, which I think is nearer a freerace board. I’m around 80kgs and I will probably run the board in the 5.5 - 7.5 sail range. I’ve had it out fully powered up with a 6.0 on big lake swell which was scary fast - hitting over 25kts at times. The board has the blue fin. I didn’t even realise it was carbon 😂. It seems to work okay, suits the board well.
      I’ve just picked up a 97l Tabou 3S, which I plan to use in 4.7 - 5.5 conditions. I have an older 135 Rocket, that I’ll use with 7.5-8.5.

@@alanpods2 Just saw your comment. Thanks for your answer! Sounds like you are having a blast :D
I'm almost 70kg and planning to get the same board for 6.0 and 8.0 sails. I hope that matches.
Do you have experiences on how the board performce off the plane? Is it carrying you well or is it a hustle? Thinking about gusty conditions and potential off plane jibes.
We dont have the most steady wind in my area.

@@Albatros2o I’m only just getting the hang of carve gybing myself, and my 135 Rocket has been the go-to board for that so far. My 113 Rocket Plus accelerates very quickly on to the plane, in fact it’s almost too quick to be honest 😂 Once on the plane, getting into the back strap is quite a committed experience, as within seconds the board is doing 40kph. I’m pretty sure it loses speed through lulls though, just like most boards, particularly once off the plane. Hope this information helps - and have fun! 😀

    Nice video, true one :)
Suggest to screw the straps to the outer holes, although, I suspect, you have done that already.

My weight is 80 kg and there was probably an average wind of 7 m/s, with gusts of 9 m/s
      Мой вес 80 кг, а средняя скорость ветра была, вероятно, 7 м/с, с порывами 9 м/с.

54 minutes is way to long to watch. Ok, you choose to keep it for yourself, I get it. But can't you cut it down to only less than 5 minutes? Only the highlights? Anyway, great that you're posting. Keep it up.
