jedrek29t - none of those links in the credits actually says what you’re using for a lathe?? There’s bits, holders, and blades - but WHAT is ACTUALLY TURNING the wood and resin?
I love a project when you see the finish project and can’t figure out how they did it so you sit and watch the video being intrigued and amazed the entire time ❤️❤️
Thanks Kat, needed to hear this. It's been my dream to work at Nasa, but my family, being traditional Hispanics told me my place was in the kitchen, learning to cook and clean for my future husband; to put down the books and pick up a mop. I constantly got told how useless I was. I internalized that message, and now that I'm out feom under their thumb I can pursue my dreams - but now I have severe anxiety and worry I'm not good enough.
I wanna thank you Jedrek29t. Watching your channel has not only always been very relaxing, its also inspired me to seek out and try resin art for myself. Im not very good yet, but i have had tons of fun experimenting and trying to find ideas on what to do and how to make it work! I love your channel and watching you work! Thanks for all this amazing content ❤

the effect of a clear epoxy layer (instead of complex polishing) is amazing. at work, I sometimes grind down material samples embedded in epoxy - as I am lazy I tend to use ethanol to temporarly "hide" scretches and thus get a better view.

Looks great, I love your video. The product is very sharp and beautiful, accompanied by the sound of a drill, a knife, etc. It sounds extremely good. I hope you will produce more videos.

@Quincy Jones No way, the initial hit of the ball would send liquid out nearly sideways due to the flat spherical shape at the tip of the ball. For the splash to go straight up like this, the water displaced by the very tip of the sphere would have to curve out from under the tip on a near lateral trajectory at first, then somehow curve upwards to create those vertical surges of liquid splashing up the sides of the sphere.
@@rj-nv6fi doesn't help your point tho. the shape of the container also changes the direction of the walls. wider cups let the fluid spread outwards, narrower cups, or baloon shaped forces the fluid up. in this case its a wide square so the splash would go outwards
I think this type of art work is so beautiful. I love how you can create a simple thing just with patience and skill and I also think you have to be good at using your hands to be able to make this good of art work.
Impressive work with resin!!! Very nicely done. I've worked with Alumilite quite a bit, but not the epoxy resins. Due to the need to pressurize Alumilite it can be somewhat limiting. Keep up the great work.
Very nice splash! The next one could be when the drop hits the water and water springs back up taller and little drop is on top of straight up splash with ripple splashes around it, golly, what word am I looking for, anyway does that make sense? Kinda like this 🐳 only where the heart is the drop of water is with its trail and splash. Ok, very very excellent job as usual Jed, thank you for sharing! Pam 😋🐳🐳🐳🐳

Genius idea and great technique, but I feel the splashes should be directed more out and away from the ball and not so straight upwards.
I agree
