I saw Ingrid Michaelson in Deer Isle Maine at the Stonington Opera House, concert called Ingrid Michaelson and Friends, and I can't imagine a better concert anywhere. She sang this song and she had the audience in the palm of her hands. Magic!

One of my favorite performers. Unpretentious, but superbly talented. My family in Staten Island and the rest of the New York City area should be proud to be so well represented.
I'm not trying to say that those 3 should be the most respected entertainers... but they do have an insane amount of talent, passion and appeal. Much of the general public (consumers) demand state-pumping club music, because for those of us that go out often, it's absolutely fun to listen to. Ingrid is amazing. Everyone has their own style and their individual audiences. Personally, I enjoy listening to anything where I can sense the artist has a true affinity for music.
This youg woman truly rock my world. She's an inspiration and a role model! (geeky funny intelligent,talented,beautiful person what more to ask?) ANd it s true that she sounds better live!
its amazing. normally a song gets better when u close your eyes. but with her, when u close ur eyes, u feel like u missing something. and when ur opening them, u know what u missed: innocence and beauty. love it.

All these people commenting how she's not pretty or she could get better features are just insecure with themselves so they feel the need to nitpick someone else. Personally, I don't care what an artist looks like as long as their music pulls me in and makes me feel good. That's a moot point here, because Ingrid is stunning, but I could care less about that. She's a beautiful singer/song-writer and that's all that really matters in the end.

What a great singer, great band, and wondrous songwriters. I love good music well performed, a thing so often missing in the POP world. Thanks Ingrid and crew. Been in one of my bands now for 32 years and we still love each other and the beautiful sound we make. I wish you the same longevity!
