Tried this at a Sephora and it was love at first smell! Very smooth and powdery, elegant yet accessible. I think it's better than profumo as it is more silky and none of the rootbeer hint. Haven't purchased a whole bottle yet but definitely will. Nice pick up!

I have it. First hour you get compliments but after that is more of a close encounter scent as many have already said. But it’s one of my favourites anyway. Girls love it when they give you a hug haha
For real i was so disappointed with the projection..i thought it was a beast and it definitely is in the first hour only..after that you need to be 50 cm from it to smell it...i think that for club this is not worth it at all because you will be smelled in the car on your way to the club but then not anymore 🤣🤣🤣

My job isn’t normally compliment friendly, but a few days ago this one came through big. Was told “whatever you have on smells good” as she and I stood outside chatting. Totally unexpected. Love the rum note and the sweetness, just delicious. Have a sample, going FB. 🤙🏻
I just bought the 50ml bottle because it was the last bottle that kohls had that day and it was on sale that day and boy I don't regret buying it, it smells wonderful!
How's the performance?
I get the opposite on the dry down. I get the suede on top with the Armani code DNA in the back, then the dry down goes into a sweet vanilla..sometimes it comes sharp but smells great!!

I cant imagine the sadness of watching this only to find out after that it is discontinued and you were too late. You can still find it but some people are selling bottles for 500$ or more. But I did find a 60ml bottle for 60$
I have this one and I find it one of the best fragrance ever. Tonka been is popular but for a reason it is awsome. And this is the best tonks fragrance I have ever smeld

Just got the 6.7 oz from the discount deal you posted a few days ago…This is one of the best fragrances I’ve ever had. This is worth every penny, pretty much everything you described about it is 100% accurate, this is probably my favorite scent next to paco rabanne 1 million..
I think it is the best Code scent - I do have the Original Black Code, the Code Colonia, the Absolu. The Profumo is something I will skip after testing it couple of times... Absolu Gold is way too similar, A-list is ressurection of old-style Code.
I would like to clarify that I am not into sweet fragrances that much - I am blue perfume user mostly, however , this one did change my mind. It is very well put together!
So the original code is the black code with the black and white font and the bottle without the cumber bun near the cap?

chill man. Everyone has their own preference. I haven’t own the original yet but I do like the absolu. Got a 3.7oz bottle locally that was 75% full for reasonable price and it was great. Idk about your preference but I like to wear it on fall and winter. The longevity is excellent and I heard the original longevity can’t even compare. So, I’d not even consider trying the original. All the flanker of Armani code seems to be better buy than the original

Believe it or not. I regret buying Profumo before Absolu.
Dang sales woman steered me towards Profumo when I had already been scoping out Absolu for about a month..I'm still gonna pick it up though.

Very very similar to Code Profumo,, Not as much in your face though...Will be wearing this a lot this Winter
It is a nice fragrance, nothing groundbreaking but more than adequate as a daily driver in cooler weather. Its been out in the uk for a while I've had it afew months now. I had to blind buy it because their were no samples around back then but i don't regret it. Its pretty versatile and lasts around 8-10 hours on me and more on my clothes. I had previously sampled profumo and i felt it was a bit too young for me but Absolu is definitely a more mature improvement. As you said, its not really masculine, in fact i smelled it on a woman quite recently and it worked on her, so i'd say its really unisex.
This is one of my favorites but owning Profumo has kept me from buying this one. This one is smoother than Profumo and I love the vanilla in it.

I Like The Giorgio Armani Code Sport, Because I Really Love Activate Fragrance Gem.
I recommend Armani Code Ultimate. Beautiful Blend of Vanilla, tonka and heliotrope. You should definately check this out. Sadly, as far as i know, it is not produced any more :/
If you love Ultimate, you will LOVE this one. This is basically Ultimate refined and less synthetic. Trust me, I also love Ultimate, but this is even better.
Just got ahold of a bottle, can’t tell if it has Greta projection but has a good skin smell. Not the sexiest but it does smell nice

Absolu is the best code period. Ever since they jacked up the original it is the king.
Absolu is great. Code EDP is also a winner.
For me definitely Absolu. Profumo is too harsh, gritty and out there for my taste. Absolu is much smoother, more rounded and refined. Like a perfect gentleman. 😉

Code Absolu is the best Code, and the best Armani overall along with ADG Profumo, IMO.

@@brad1953Glad you enjoy Profondo! It just doesn't ring my bell. . Profumo is still the top one from Armani for me, perhaps in my top ten men fragrances of all time as of now. It's just so versatile and quite unique, and I always find myself reaching for it quit often throughout the years.
Perfumo - Perfundo, they make the names so close sounding and thought it was the same thing at first.

Great review. I just got this today. How do you compare Absolu to Le Male le Parfum? Black bottle from JP. I picked Absolu over Le Male as Le male did not last on my skin for some reason. To mention, ultra was horrible on my skin wow! 🤯

Been discontinued for a while mate . Lucky English if you can pick it up at a chemist somewhere. I am lucky enough to own both this one & the code porfumo in the 200ml bottles as well as the 125ml . Both smell like liquid gold 😆

Not sure why this is a winter scent. I think it is fresh. Almost all winter scents can be used in a night time environment like a club in the spring, summer, fall etc.
To me code profumo is my most favourtie smell on a man hands down. Smelt a lot of niche and unique smells but i dont know wjat it is but code profumo is just perfect! And it lasts! This is what d n g the one edp should have been. Its just amazing . Love it. Curious about the absolu now. I just want to knw if it lasts as long as the profumo
