Tip for next move from someone that's uprooted her life for many jobs: Don't take your hanging stuff off the hangers. Just throw a trash bag over the hanging clothes and toss them in the car! That way you're bringing your clothes directly from closet to closet, you have more space in suitcases to pack other things, and you don't have to buy hangers when you get to your new place!
Definitely would've saved me time!! Y'all take this advice!!

Girl, i would just toss all my shoes in a trash bag and move them that way. My boyfriend and I moved into a one bedroom, and that’s how I packed my shoes. Easy to transport and takes up way less space
I really don't understand why anyone would hate on the amount of shoes... It's your apartment, bring what you like!

Once we are allowed to go upstairs in the house I will! But with all of the COVID precautions, they are only letting the girls who live in the House to go upstairs for now!

As a resident of Gulf Shores, I too have a huge amount of sweatshirts. I cleaned my closet out of ones I don’t wear often and got rid of 20 so I still have like 35 in my closet. :)

You should roll your clothes up because it saves on space... So more clothes and less creases when you get to the other end!

I'm probably older than your usual subscriber (31), and have been there done this a few trillion times. You will likely be moving a lot in the coming years, I highly suggest investing in some tote bins for moving your clothes! Not only can you use them as storage, but the cardboard boxes can get wet/gross really easily.

I have just one year left to finishing undergrad (would be a junior too but my program is 3-years xD)
And I am finishing my college with 4 pairs of shoes in total (two pairs of daily flats, a pair of regular memory foam shoes and one pair of joggers) with an additional Drill boots/combat boots which is strictly worn only with my Uniform (am a Senior Army Wing cadet of NCC)
So yeah. That's also all the shoes I have, with one more pair of flats which stays at home
why are you not living at the sorority house this year? or is it only a sophmore thing to live there? sorry i know nothing about american college
generally, only sophomores live in the sorority houses
Our Pi Phi house is primarily a Sophomore House, so we decided that although we do get first priority as Juniors, we would give up our spot so more sophomores could live in!

This is a great example to me for how different people live differently. I hate shopping and my parents are divorced so I live at two houses... I think my entire closet could fit in one suitcase, and a second with sweatshirts and pajamas. People make fun of me for wearing the same clothes all the time but I have my favorites and I hate shopping soooooo . Absolutely no hate it just made me laugh to think about how fast I could pack
I unfortunately love shopping, but wish I would be more minimalistic. I don't travel that much but struggle to pack because I'm afraid I leave out something I will want later.
I love where you are going to college 💕 that is where I want to go. I love it down there I used to live there want to move back so bad. 💕
