You don't have to open the task manager and kill the process that way, usually down in the notification bay there should be a discord icon where you can right click on it and select "Quit Discord "or if you turn off "User Settings > Window Settings > Minimize to tray" pressing X will close it rather than minimizing it
Yes, that is also an option! Over the course of a few years, repeating instructions in different ways to hundreds of people, I've come up with this as the most easy to follow solution for most beginners. It is short and sweet, easy to do, works on any computer.
You can make your account (the one you use on your PC) to be an administrator. Then everything will always be allowed and run as administrator... be very careful when doing this, this removes all safeties
My bad for not noticing your comment sooner. It could be hiding beside your wifi or sound on the taskbar, bottom-right of your screen. There should be an up arrow.
@@vtrxly6732 what i meant was. All you need to do was press "run as administrator" thats the admin button. Of course you need to assign a push to talk button on discord as well. Thats the button you press when speaking into the microphone.

until the next time you start discord. This is NOT the ideal solution
Absolutely not a permanent solution.
In my case, discord runs pretty much uninterrupted and always on. So doing this once for me lasts many months
dude, my discord's app is missing, how the hell do I find it?
