I love that C&9 made their embossing folders with the top in black so it's easy to see the design when looking through your folders! Oh, and let's not forget the matching stencils to color them - makes us all feel like artists. Thanks for showcasing not only C9 goodies today, but also Kristina's new line as well. I am making your poinsettia card for Christmas this year - I am making two smaller poinsettias in vellum and two bigger ones in red card stock - I plan to use white embossing powder on the edges of the two white poinsettias - I’ll see how well they stand out - I might use the white embossing powder to cover the whole flower, not just the edges - then I’ll put Merry Christmas in gold across the middle - I’m tucking in some sprigs of holly with red berries here and there - I like using your technique of using acetate pieces to raise things up, so thinking of doing that if I think the red poinsettia petals don’t stand up enough - I have a background die that is almost the same shape as yours and I’ll use it for my card base - thinking of using sticky dots as my glue - I have some very tiny gold beads and might use them to create the centers of the poinsettias - I can’t wait to play! Thank you Jennifer for showing this card and thank you Kristina for creating this die set!
