Saw them at Blackpool Opera house on the 1st Dec and they were ... Meh. Yes, the light show is very impressive, yes the musicianship is excellent but there's just something missing. They haven't got a Gilmour or a Waters. Nobody with any stage presence or charisma, just guys who can play going through the motions. The lead singer looked like he'd rather be anywhere else and had zero connection with the crowd. Why on earth the owners of the business can't find someone who can play AND sing is beyond me, there are hundreds out there. The singer just delivers his lines and walks off, time and time again!! Great "show" but you need more than lasers, inflatables and smoke to nail it, surely there has to be a better Floyd tribute than this ?
i see where you are coming from, like you said, their musicianship is fine and the lights are good but there is something missing , there is no passion in their playing and the whole show is too stage managed so it seems like robots playing . a little movement on stage would help a bit :P , playing the same set month after month year after year is a killer tbh
Hmmm, these guys or Brit Floyd? I guess I gotta see Aussie Floyd live a couple times to decide because Brit blows me away. These guys just watching on a laptop are very impressive.
Saw them in Glasgow last night and they are absolutely incredible. Almost forget they’re a tribute band. Close your eyes and it’s Gilmour, Mason,Waters and Wright. Note perfect every song.
@@drewscott2753Drew my thoughts completely my friend. Just how great was that. Well said as I was in Glasgow on Saturday night 25Th also and wow what an absolute incredible experience. Saw them a year beforehand and saw Roger Waters in June but the gig in Glasgow was fantastic and they perform all the best tracks with the ultimate light show. I must admit I was in tears watching them at wish you where here it all got so emotional. Wonderful show. ✌️👍✌️🐖👆
