The VIS hoods are solid. Till this day it's on the car and held up without any issues. The inside layer is fiberglass and has indents for the factory TMIC shroud pop clips to go into. I have a video installing it.
Why so many? Where did you buy them and how much/ that’s the exact hood that I’ve wanted I just can’t justify 1600 after shipping at the moment. Lol love the video!

VIS hoods seemed to be the best out of the carbon options for these cars. Just wondering do they support the TMIC Shroud from factory hood?

It's carbon now not steel anymore that holds factory latch
Till this day I haven't put hood latches on the hood. However you are correct, it is a good idea to do.

No not really. It's mainly for looks
What year is your car? I can't tell if it's the dark grey 2019 or the lighter gray 2020+

Did you have any water leaking thru the scoop and vents when you wash the car?
Side vents no since there's rain guards and the scoop yes. However even the factory scoop gets water in it

I got them directly from the manufacturer, so no middle man costs. Yeah if your local I can do a good price, but shipping kills it. Thanks!
