  • During those times when I start to run out of ideas, I like to resort to a simple trick. In this video I will show you how I do this and how I give myself the push I need to complete a drawing.

    I feel like I could reach inside that drawing and pick something up! That is just scary, crazy, 😎cool.

    Hi. In the past I did a lot of drawing with black BIC pens. Only the one pen for the whole drawing, using different pressure depending on the 'shade of grey' I wanted. Now I made some drawings following your style, in different markers and a BIC pen, I noticed the difference ... I don't know if it's a 'different colour black', or the BIC ink is a little more shiny than the markers. Probably it's only visible i.r.l., not in a video or photo.

      You're absolutely right. It doesn't show up at all in the video, but with my eyes I can definitely see the difference. I don't mind, of course. It's nice to know where I laid down each type of ink.

    One of the issues I'm working on is making circular objects have that rounded appearance. It can be a bit frustrating for me.

    • @betsi_jae
      @betsi_jae  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can be difficult to add depth to certain shapes, for sure. Don't let this discourage you 💙. Keep practicing.

    I love using the regular Bic pens for shading. I don't know if it's the med tip and the amount of ink it releases or what, bit I keep a few different brands actually just for shading. You really pointed a great tip out with that.

      It really is so interesting seeing the way the different ball point pens behave and how their ink is slightly different. The more pens I try, the more I notice this. 😊 It's something interesting to geek out over.

    Was thinking a red bic pen might be nice for the cables. A splash of colour is usually a good thing. Just a thought.

    I have to tell you that watching you doing your "flick" method to achieve those very fine like.. strings, was a gift! I've been practicing your technique and boy am I having fun! It's NOT HARD🎉
    I've been using this in my flower petals! I'm working on a project that has a crescent moon and a small sunshine surrounded by a floral galaxy...like instead if planets and stars, I have flowers mixed with stars...i think it's going to be pretty. Ib😮want to show people some of my drawings but I'm afraid of Instagram. It's intimidating but I'm going to bite the bullet and post some of my work. Thank you for your inspiration. Film @11:00😅😅

    Darling. I've watched you long enough to say... nothing you draw is "simple". If all the BEAUTUFUL words we have in our universe...."Simple" wouldn't eccentric be in the same Galaxy as your art! You are, without doubt, the most amazing "Tangler" I've ever watched. I gave up trying to replicate your work quite a while ago. Now..I just get some popcorn and watch your show!🤗👏

    had to invest in these brush pens, ty. black inks often follow the cmyk percents & can have warm or cool bases depending on brand preferences. ii use bics all the time, love them...then again...pens are my one true collection...after paper(s)...😁

    I love your work. I actually think the drawing looked awesome just like it was! I loved the look of the design just spilling out of the left-side page. However, it still looks great with added design!

      Try checking the settings on the youtube player. The playback speed might be set to something other than 1x. It wasn't anything on my end. Hope this helps.
