Life is just good in Bacolod. There's no traffic and pollution, roads are clean and wide, streets are lined up with trees, people are friendly, accessible to good schools, and the FOOD IS GREAT!
The traffic in bcd is bad, 2nd only to cebu in visayas and our streets are not as wide as iloilo’s but still I’m thankful we don’t experience traffic and pollution as bad sa metro manila’s. I agree with the rest especially the food.
Yeah that was before na hindi pa commercialize yung Bacolod na lesser mga establishments at mga buildings. Grabe kaya traffic congestion during rush hour dyan. Hindi lang downtown, kahit pa norte o pa south man. Alam ko dahil hometown ko kasi Bacolod eh. Pero traffic in Bacolod is better than in NCR at wala masyadong pollution.
The uniqueness of the vid for bacolod, I could say is 75%. Showing the different food of bacolod isn't enough. I could suggest if you put a story or an experience of a person or a group of friends while they are in bacolod, different attractions, adventure, unique traits of bacolod people. And the color correction of your vid. It should be vibrant for summer. More yellowish like summer vibes in film can be feel. Overall the videography is good. :))) i love how your stedicam, or flycam works. :))))
I was a balikbayan to my home city last January 2014 after almost 7 years of absence and for all those years of being away, God how nice it was to be home again. Arriving in the evening, I went home straight from the airport to my place of residence in Helvetia Subd. and to my surprise the along the way the airport roads were dark not because of anything else but that there was no light installed. Not a proper way of greeting the visitors who wants to visit the place for the first time. When I reach home the same is true with the subdivision the lights were almost gone and if there is one its just that simple bulb used to light foot walks. In the morning to my surprise I was told that since the City Goverment building stood up right beside us, garbage collection were only done once a year and that's on Christmas. Most of the garbage were dumped right in our plaza area, once we were proud to beautify and where our children used to play. I embark on a city tour riding on jeepneys to taste for myself how to be in the ordinary crowd. To my dismay downtown area were almost chaotic as they were filthy. No police manning the traffic as they were busy walking around SM mall and those doing traffic enforcement were the casual traffic personnel too afraid to enforce traffic order otherwise they might lose their job if they come into to contact with some big shots. Sidewalk vendors and trisikad drivers ply their trade with disdain and there is a breakdown of civility all over the place. The only place you can be where there is no breakdown of order is inside malls, outside is a free for all society as there is almost no rules to follow may it be traffic or what. Ohh my beloved city.. My once proud Bacolod, the capital of sugarlandia. You were so unlucky to be governed by incompetents and mediocres whose idea of governance were wanting and never are fit to run this once proud and beautiful home city. To you city officials and employees past and present, I hold responsibility for the mess you created for what my beloved Bacolod now has become..A filthy, disorganized, unruly place once i called home. .
I've been to Bacolod before. it is pretty nice, and when it rains it is so peaceful and soothing to the soul. But I am afraid of the giant spiders in the fields. I enjoyed the chicken there. Also I have seen 16 people get on a tricycle and it drove off. Amazing!
Good thing you promoted Merzci's,coz bongbong's doesn't stand to it's slogan of "bacolod's best delicacies" they are selling products produced from other places..i.g. pasalubong treats from Cebu....so how could they claim they are bacolod's best if they are selling Cebu products?
