This was actually a "family visit." It's probably been forgotten that Queen Louise of Sweden was Prince Phillip's aunt, the sister of Phillip's mother and the sister of Lord Louis Mountbatten. She can be seen at 1:28. She was the second wife of the widowed King of Sweden, but she was not the blood grandmother of the current Swedish royal family. She was their "step-grandmother."
back then was a distinct propaganda effort by some to neglect any mention of Prince Philip's relations to any other European royals because of the whole thing with his sister marrying Nazi princes. They wanted to make him look as English as possible. The irony here is Queen Louise herself was actually very English in her upbringing so that attempt they made to distance the Duke from his blood relatives didn't even matter in this case
Wonderful! 🇸🇪❤🇬🇧 forever 👍
Vad härligt!
Gorgeous

And Queen Elizabeth’s second cousin once removed 😉
Queen Louise and her husband had a baby but she was stillborn, the second half of your comment is correct though.
