Eddie will ALWAYS be here with us. We certainly appreciate Alex sharing so much of his little brother with us too. Eddie has earned his rest and Alex has earned his sit.
If I didn't know Alex from Adam, I would think he was an old school Jewish showbiz manager, or business owner from New York these days lol! What a metamorphosis!
thats what i told my wife after hearing him speak about his book. i never really heard him before and he sounded like a pawn shop owner i used to drop in on santa monica blvd in the 80's. or the anteater on the pink panther.
5:20am uk time here….Firstly I’m really sorry to hear that covid restrictions in 2020 prevented Alex and the rest of Edward’s family from being physically close to him when he was going through it. That’s just awful😢😔🙏..But when love is that strong ultimately no barriers will ever separate you from people you have loved for a lifetime….In the words of Wolfgang -‘No matter what the distance is I will be with you. No matter what the distance is you’ll be ok’ (Paul)
Except his father was a doctor and they had money. He grew up in an area that had less than 2% black and les than 2% latino. After moving to Pasadena, he spent some time at a private school. I think he's exaggerating his time in school 😂
@@PatriotDave87 you are EXACTLY right...he's lying...he went to the Webbs School in Claremont and to John Muir High in Pasadena....private magnet schools.... he tells stories and the older he gets the more exaggerated they get.....
The music that Edward made with the band that shared his name will be with us until it is forgotten by the foolish. Every thing That Van Halen published from 1978 forward was the soundtrack of my life & for that I will be grateful that it happened at all. Some people want to see a reunion with all the members that have ever been in VH should stop & think about what that would be like for Alex. For decades, he could look down from his drum kit & see his Little brother. Not anymore there will an empty spot where his brother used to stand they grew up together & were always together, making records and jamming live & that's just what we from the outside got to see. That was his brother from the very first day till his last. Don't be sad it's over, be glad it happened at all.
Van Halen’s prime was like most bands. It was during the first couple/few albums. Yes, Sammy was a better singer and he kept the VH juggernaut going, but nothing will ever touch the original lineup.
Best not to go into him. He is always inappropriate and working mischief to do damage. He wouldn’t even support Alex by doing a tribute to his brother in 2021 giving him due credit. In his prime DLR was possibly the greatest showman in rock history…But unfortunately he also seems to be madness without empathy. (Paul)
the tooth is because he fell of a bike or a skateboard or something, i forget exactly. he discusses it in the rogan interview. hes getting it fixed soon.
At some point between when Dave left VH and now, something changed. Back in the day, Dave seemed a little eccentric but still seemed cool. Now he has slid all the way to the cringe end of the spectrum. His strange mannerisms are off the charts, and apparently he thinks every sentence he utters is hilarious. The tooth is there to let everyone know he is "loco, ese".
Funny thing about Hagar fans...they can't stop taking shots on Dave...yet Dave and his era outsold hagar era by over double and as Alex pointed out, the magic left when Dave was gone
I miss Ed so much. It's nice to see Alex smiling and laughing❤
Eddie RIP once said:
"I'll always be with you,
Just push play!"
Alex sounds deeper than I thought he might be. Good on him.
Great click bait title

Clickbait. Just repeating what other’s have said. Nothing original here.

I think 5150 was the best album and has the best guitar EVH playing ever.
Agreed. But what sam did???? Took them to way bigger heights
Jericho is clearly having the time of his life interviewing Alex
As long as people remember and talk about Eddie, he's still alive.
Dave is out of his mind, whats with the missing tooth? and alll the inappropriate laughing
