    Nice video, Mitch.
    It's a good idea to make shoji doors for the cabinet.
    Nice idea, with the wood you mirrored it (sawed) (Butterfly).
    I look forward to the Sequel.

    Butterfly Joint, I've never heard that method called that. Is that what the actual joint is called, or the taping of the joint?

    • @mitchwoodwork
      @mitchwoodwork  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just my name for the method Steve. The joint is just a butt joint. When prepared well, the tape is all the clamping required, a bit like making mitre cornered boxes. Weights ensure the panel is flat, making the butt joints pull up close.

    Wow that’s a long way out. Why set this event more than 4 months ahead? Or was that a mistake?

    • @mitchwoodwork
      @mitchwoodwork  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was going to publish it as my next project, but I have some magazine interest in it and we're discussing whether the magazine article should precede the video series. Hence I have pushed it back for the present. I will keep this under review, and I'm just sorry that I'd set it as a premier before I heard.
      I'll give you chance to see this reply, and then see if I can remove it from the video list.
