The cool thing with snow is how different it can be depending of the temperature and it's age. In your video it looks like very fresh snow on hard packed older snow during cold weather (-10 and below). The snow is not very deep yet, the hard ground is not far. Perfect conditions. Riding in snow is almost impossible when it's warm and the snow is wet and heavy, your front wheel just dig a track. It's amazing how your forests are identical to ours in eastern Canada. Anyways, one of your best video yet.
Thanks mate! Wow, your snow analysis was accurate😁It was perfect conditions indeed, just a day after this the weather went over 0°C for a while and now there is thick crust on the snow so driving isn't as enjoyable anymore. I would describe Finland's nature some kind of a rookie version of yours. We have only fells, not mountains, bears are lame and try to avoid people and almost every berry is edible 😅
Awesome video! How cold can you run your T7? Do you have to mod anything? When ice racing dirt bikes, they tend to over fuel when it's below +10F or so. We run higher temp stats in cooling system and block off some / most of radiators to build enough engine heat. Otherwise, it can overfuel and get fuel in the crankcase. Fuel injected dirt bikes are as bad for this as carbed if not worse
For this winter I haven't done any mods for the bike and the coldest temperature has been -20°C. Of course I check the engine temp every now and then and it tends to be around 70-80°C while driving, so no problem with that so far. At the moment it's -30°C out, so maybe I should do a little test run at the evening, you know, just for the science😄
Well, like I said I can't say that the handling of the bike would be poor. Of course it should be better especially at winter to have the rear lower rather than high, but it felt ok and there wasn't constant fear of dying in the back of my head while I was driving in deeper snow or faster icy sections, so for me it's fine😄 But I gotta keep testing, maybe later in the winter I'll change my mind, who knows.
You’re really tough one ! Pleasure to watch it, especially in the winter ! Keep doing it !
Thanks! I'll try😄
Love the video and love the commentary :)
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it☺

@@Gen-X.Adventures Thanks, you too mate!
Gr8 video. Gr8 edit too!
Thanks mate!
The gunshot in the end always get me 🙂
Haha, it's just for the case if someone has fell asleep😄
@@Garage_Perkele it sure will wake them up haha! Nice riding btw 🙂
did you use studded tire?
Yep, last winter I had Michelin AC10 with enduro studs. Grip is great, but I wouldn't recommend those if you have to ride long and fast legs on tarmac
this is hard man !! i dont do it with mine T7 !!
cheers from Greece !!
Thanks mate!
You could add Good Guy Jesus -figurine (or a bobble head anything) to indicate twiggles and shakes for the video viewers) :)
If someone knows how the Perkele actually looks and makes bobble head version of that, then I might consider🤔
Nice!)
Foršs stāsts !!!👍
Thank you!🙏
Raising your rear has made your bike so much harder to handle in these conditions, trust me😉
