I noticed that when you do maintenance it presents an opportunity to talk design as well. Maybe you don't consider it as much, but you are an accomplished garden architect. I would enjoy learning about your design choices and challenges.
I remember this house wow a year has gone by already not bad looking.wow it looks so much cleaner you can see those three pots and the sticks on fire is cut down perfect another job well done. 👏👏👏
Great useful inspiring video. Can't believe you accomplished this transformation in one day. I remember how hard your team worked to remove those birds of paradise that swallowed the front. This video proves how much easier and better these succulent landscapes are.
Huge job! Looks so well kept and beautiful. Everything can be seen and enjoyed again. Love this garden. Oh a lavender lady is definitely on wish list, it’s gorgeous! ❤
Can't believe it's been that long. It looks so much better. I always think, that's okay, or that's still fine, but after you are done it's like night and day better and looks fabulous.
The lower leaves on each cactus die. This is completely normal. Just turn them over. Snails are attracted by nice fleshy leaves full of water. I would definitely cut off the blossomed inflorescences. Very interesting black crushed lava stones. Select the extinct pieces and complete the new planting. The original cacti are beautifully large. Laura good job it became so lighthearted.
Wow! No criticism on y'all but i think 12months is a shade too long. Nature just moves in and has her way. The plants/succulents are tuff stuff though. Hope owner is stoked. Nice job!
Love the way things have grown out. I've been trying to grow a pacapodium with no success so I'm jealous. I'm near sf bay with a a difficult sound wall environment but I'll keep trying.
We are in East Bay Area and many of our succulents that run riot in San Diego are very very slow here. Agave attenuata is very reliable but Ray of Light cultivar is happy but very, very slow. Pedalanthus is another slow grow and need surprising amount of water to be happy in summer.
Great Job, Team DFS! It's a shame so much of your time was spent cleaning up mess from trees that aren't even on this property, ugh! I'm frustrated on the homeowner's behalf! I'm sure he was just so pleased to see the magic you worked.
Look at the pathways and you’d swear you’d removed all the plants. Look at the garden bed and a lot of places you can hardly tell you’ve removed anything, haha.

So satisfying! I bet the client is thrilled and asks you to come more often :) So pretty.
Gorgeous transformation. Love what you did.

“Snail. The spawn of satan.” 😂

just ahmazing!!
I remember this house too! I think you should advise them you need to come every 6 months. It looked very uncared for!
Yes, the made it tight and right
🌹💚
Omg I need to put my lavender lady in the garden
Mine is still in a small pot
Is runnamuckus in the ranunculus family ! I'm not familiar with that plant 🙂
Man, that was a ton of work! Looks so much better ❤
Wow, so beautiful and gorgeous, garden, I love ❤️ it, and it’s neat and clean
It looks so good!
Beautiful! What do you do with all the plants you pull up? Is there a local place you recycle these plants?
Wow beautiful makeover!
Nice tour cactus garden 🎉🎉sub
Thanks for the sub
this is one of my favs!
🌸
Laura, the succulents we planted this spring already have pups! When should they be detached to grow independently? We are in San Francisco.
Look at the pathways and you’d swear you’d removed all the plants. Look at the garden bed and a lot of places you can hardly tell you’ve removed anything, haha.
Just curious as to what kind of systemic you use on the cacti? I assume it’s a liquid?
Those are two rather conspicuously placed boulders at the base of that tall Straousii(sp?) lol hmmm
How much does a landscaping job cost?? Wow!!
looks like jasmine in side yard rather
than camilla looks like it is a climbing plant
🙋
❤😊
Excuse me, there are snails who eat baby snails?!?! WTF, nature!!?!?
