To me this sound like two kinds of people in a bad relationship. Juby is just sitting through it and letting it happen, she's excepted she isn't getting out of the relationship. She's sad but she isn't doing anything to get out of it. Rachie on the other hand is angry, she blames the person for everything yet doesn't try to escape. She thinks she's trapped and is upset. Being set off by everything and blaming the partner. She's losing a rigged battle. I´ve said it before at the Miku and Luka version, but I´ll say it again. This song reminds of a visual novel called Her Tears Were My Light, you play as Time who finds a girl named Space and you become friends and decide to discover the place you live in (some kind of space). Unfortunately, you come across another girl named Nil, who erases Space. So you basically have to reset time and attempt to save Space, you later learn that Time and Nil used to be friends but Time kind of forgot about Nil and that Space is something like Nil´s copy. There are three endings. In one, you end up with Nil and abandon Space, in the second you end up with Space and Nil leaves. In the third you all become friends. Juby reminds me of Time, because when the song starts she says And we´ll go back in time, everything´s the same..., reminding me of Time reseting universe to prevent Space by getting erased by Nil. Also her meaning of Why does this keep happening... is Time being angry Space keeps getting erased. Rachie is Nil. She sings Bring on the excuses, tell me that I deserve this... showing how Nil felt when Time tried to hold her so Space could run away. Right after that following Don´t let me open my mouth... is when you refuse to hear Nil´s story that Time and her used to be friends. Her meaning of Why does this keep on happening... is her being angry Time´s desparate trying to save Space by rewinding and not letting Nil explain everything. But none of this is canon, this song just reminds me of that novel. I recommend it to y´all if you guys like LGBT+

I´ve said it before at the Miku and Luka version, but I´ll say it again.
This song reminds of a visual novel called Her Tears Were My Light, you play as Time who finds a girl named Space and you become friends and decide to discover the place you live in (some kind of space).
Unfortunately, you come across another girl named Nil, who erases Space. So you basically have to reset time and attempt to save Space, you later learn that Time and Nil used to be friends but Time kind of forgot about Nil and that Space is something like Nil´s copy.
There are three endings. In one, you end up with Nil and abandon Space, in the second you end up with Space and Nil leaves. In the third you all become friends.
Juby reminds me of Time, because when the song starts she says And we´ll go back in time, everything´s the same..., reminding me of Time reseting universe to prevent Space by getting erased by Nil. Also her meaning of Why does this keep happening... is Time being angry Space keeps getting erased.
Rachie is Nil. She sings Bring on the excuses, tell me that I deserve this... showing how Nil felt when Time tried to hold her so Space could run away. Right after that following Don´t let me open my mouth... is when you refuse to hear Nil´s story that Time and her used to be friends. Her meaning of Why does this keep on happening... is her being angry Time´s desparate trying to save Space by rewinding and not letting Nil explain everything.
But none of this is canon, this song just reminds me of that novel. I recommend it to y´all if you guys like LGBT+

Something interesting about the illustrations in this video: They do a great job of detailing the two's respective perspectives on the situations. If you'll notice, the one on the left who is meant to represent Juby has very welcoming body language, lending an ear and extending a hand, her body facing fully forward, a neutral expression on her face, while Rachie on the right's body is facing entirely away from whomever it is they are facing, their hands sprawled in front of their face, indicating a lack of willingness to understand or listen; she also has a particularly apprehensive expression on her face. Amazing illustrations, truly.
