I have the same problem like you with this plane that the aileron isn't going back in the center position and i didn't had this problem with my other Eachine 400 series planes.
Just got mine and it does the same thing.. I am glad I found your video and you tried a new servo. I now think its a defective stabilization board. Already got a return and exchange filed with Banggood. Hope the Spitfire is not like this. I love the P51.
I received a few duds from Bangood ..... I don't it's worth the trouble and loss of money anymore. At least if you buy something off eBay and it doesn't work you can get a promt refund .... but if you buy from Bangood or aliexpress it's your loss if it's a dud. Thanks for the video.
I am having similar issues with my Eachine BF 109. Your video has been a great help for me to decide what I am going to do. What I plan to do is replace the receiver with a spektrum compatible receiver. But that will have to wait until after Christmas. I will release a video of the whole replacement of the receiver.
Would be very interested to see that video, Mark, as my bf109 has the same problem and I’m keen to know how to fix it and how easy/hard it is to carry out the repair.
That was a rough maiden Blowy . I've Never seen that happen to a servo in 20 plus years of RC . Looks like that board is no good . It is very disappointing considering the price they are asking for these mini warbirds now . I hope you get another board in it and we see it fly properly soon . Best of luck dealing with the BG warranty claim dept . They are refusing to replace or refund me for a VERY BROKEN and bent RC truck that was shipped to me 2 week ago .It arrived damaged .And I filmed it all during a unboxing video . i have sent them all the info , pictures and videos they requested MULTIPLE times now and they keep losing them or say we making a decision and i hear nothing . I get lots of stuff from them , but I have cancelled every single order that has not shipped , if they are going to treat customers this way over clear cut issues of damaged or broken products then I will take all my business elsewhere .
I tried to fix it quick to get back in air but didn't happen. And no good you got faulty RC too. We found putting all the order numbers on your story helps alot to Banggood and be nice but this one come from Aliexpress.
I don't like hearing this as I get the feeling that Banggood is perhaps trying to wait you out with the hopes you'll just give up and stop your communications with them. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't like having to say it , but I think people deserve to know I have filmed 3-4 segments on this particular issue but have NOT included or released them yet because I was trying to give them the benefit of doubt and extra time to do the right thing . I have no intention of trashing any company , But I will always be honest with folks and not just ignore failings in these companies or the products they sell . For some people this might be all the extra money they could save up and afford . It could be the only present someone gets . It could be the only plane someone buys . It would be a shame if it happened to them as well . And it is bad for the hobby and industry to if they sell junk and won't deal with warranty or defective product issues .Cheers to you
Sorry to see that. You fell victim to poor quality control as I did. Three different birds with three bad circuit boards. Did the same as yours Blowy. Also had the same return/repair problem as Phillip C. I gave them all info. and video. Told me to wait for answer then closed claim for no contact with them in 7 days. I was polite in all correspondence. Won't do business with them anymore. Fixing myself. Found receiver/gyro on other website.
I purchased the P-51 version a year ago and had the same problem over and over again. Returned it and received a replacement. The replacement Mustang flew perfectly..There are some planes that come flawed. Most likely a quality control issue.
Not too promising mate! Also just a suggestion - when you are demonstrating a model that allows different Flight Modes/Tx Stick Rates it would be nice if you announced (both by voice and written overlays) which you are using at any particular time. That way the casual punter could get a fuller picture of how things will react in his own hands. ;-)
Some of fellow reviewers say that a safety feature has been added to the remote: expert mode is available only after you disarm the left stick and then MANUALLY change mode. Even if the switch is in expert mode, disarm will still activate intermediate mode. This is done to prevent inexperienced pilots from full-manual take-off. A good idea, I must say, but not too straightforward implementation. But beside this, in your case something else is also wrong with the plane electronics.
@@blowy48flyrc , I am not 100% sure of this information, because I do not have the Bf109 myself. But I have seen that seen this on TH-cam recently. And yeah, there is a typo: I meant "arm", not "disarm". Being an owner of 400mm Corsair myself, I had two crashes over a course of a year due to wrong mode take-off. So yeah, probably a useful feature.
I just got mine yesterday and have the same problem. Gyro stays on in expert mode. Also broke two props as it drops out of the sky for no reason. Very disappointed after waiting 3 months for the thing.
@@blowy48flyrc I removed the old receiver and ordered the Eachine P-51 receiver. I had to trim some foam a little to make it work . The P-51 receiver is a little wider but will work. I have never had any problems with the others so I'm replacing the receiver with a tried and true. The weight is almost the same. BF-109 is 7.9g and the P-51 is 7.4g.

I am now a step ahead! Same, problems as you showed us in the video. No centered ailerons at the ground and no expert mode available ……. But i‘ve tried this bird today in calm wind conditions,- it fly or it die!!!! 1.) Plug in your lipo and hold the bird leveled to the ground in the other hand,- wait 3sec. 2.) Switch on your transmitter for binding. 3.)switch to beginner mode. 4.) Shake the Bird,- (notice: the ailerons are not yet centered!!! 5.) give 3/4throttle und throw it. You will see this little crappy thing center the ailerons at the first second „in flight“. I have removed the landing gear and the tail wheel, than the CG fits perfect too. The bf109 is a little bit heavier than the other 400mm Eachine Warbirds,- but without the gear, it goes in manual mode near vertical and flys as all the others of then. Regards from Germany.
Also had the problem of getting a stuck servo in expert mode OR engaging any "maneuvers" like loop or barrel roll. The plane just got in a scary death roll and plunged into the frozen dirt nose first.. I tried many things but ended up getting the confirmation on rc forums that they set up the gyros and flightmodes differently and ended up having a wonky fc board on the bf 109. Other members swapped it with their newest one (the spitfire fc board) in which they set the gyros snd modes as in the previous ones (before the bf109s, which clearly indicates they realized that there IS a fault in the product) and this worked perfectly well. So I ended up ordering the Spitfire fc board as well...my bird has to wait a long time in the hangar in order to get an update banggood is charging the full price for. They are very uncooparative and are constantly hiding themselves behind funky language "difficulties" or technical gibberish. Or for the custumors to wait out the complaint time frame. It's a real shame.

Got mine last week same thing going on. Banggood is telling me Eachine said this is how the plane is supposed to be what a joke! Still in a return/replace battle with them for the last 5 days!
@John Wiegand I gave up they said I could send it back for a refund but I would have to pay for shipping back to China. Just gonna buy a reciever from one of the other warbords and replace it.
I just bought one and had the same problem on the maiden flight. I am now attempting to return it for a replacement. When trying to recreate the problem for a proof of problem video, the rudder and elevator controls are now on the right stick and the left is only controlling the throttle like a 3 channel plane. I hope this problem is contained to the first generation of these new models.
Broke my 3 bladder prop on the maiden too, but with a perfectly gentle landing in grass - no wheels though. Quite disappointed with this prop as it looks epic but is really fragile. Have never broken any of the 2 bladed prop on the mustang & Corsair!
Provided you have access to the usual 2-blader I'm not sure why anyone would risk the currently non-replaceable display model 3-blader (which in a rough landing is guaranteed to have 1 blade in the break off position.) The 2-bladers can be broken in a full frontal collision but only rarely.

I purchased the P-51 version a year ago and had the same problem over and over again. Returned it and received a replacement. The replacement Mustang flew perfectly..There are some planes that come flawed. Most likely a quality control issue.

I have had this problem with my Mustang. It turned out to be the servo. It felf like it had a spot where it would get stuck.
