Oh my God.. after the first few seconds of hearing Billy Bob's voice, I was taken back to my childhood and the smell of the pizza and the noise of the video games and other children.. WOW. what a great flashback... Thank you for that!
This is such a touching tribute to Davy Jones. I made my own tribute to Davy from actual concert footage that I filmed myself during the 45th Anniversary Tour of The Monkees.
Hey Aaron, I must say this is an absolutely awesome video. I'm so glad you were able to put it together in your free time. Mitzi's singing in this tribute is indeed real wonderful. I hope that most of the work and help that I have done on and through a site on the internet a while back will help to bring back Showbiz Pizza Place and the Rock-afire Explosion real soon. On the other hand I know I will be missing Davy Jones myself for a long time to come. Thanks: Jason Winter from St. Louis MO.
I loved it love it love it. I hope they start to make some more new videos case I would love to see more. They are so cute and I can not get enough of them. I am always wanting more. So I hope you have more coming. Thank you for showing me such awesome videos. I have subscribed to anyone who has anything to do with The Rock afire Explosion. I thought they rocked back then and they still rock now. SO thank you for showing me them and bringing back a lot of memories. I just wish as a kid I could have seen them instead of seeing them on TV commercials. But some day I will pay for the tour and I will see them before I die. Have you gone to see them????? I hope you have.
These are so brilliantly maintained and programmed. They're exceptionally lifelike, especially considering how few actuators they use. And such a lovely tribute! :)
very nice!!! it is cool there are still a few places in the world that still have the original rock a fire explosion, nothing will replace them, chuck e cheese's are horrible the rock a fire explosion had great shows with many music artists and groups recognized and it was fun eating pizza and watching the shows this is a great tribute to davy jones and the monkees
A tribute that was well-done when it was originally made, and is still a phenomenal work of art to this day. Amazing work you've always done through the years, Aaron. Keep it up! ^_^
@hyrdrolisk1792 He still has one more band left, but he's selling it at the price he used to sell the to showbiz for because it's his last one. It's $120,000.
Aaron! How did you do all this in such a short time?? I mean, all the singing and programming and video? You must have had no sleep for DAYS to get this ready! You're simply AMAZING!!!!!
The only thing that was recorded and programed recently was Billy Bob doing his speech at the beginning. The rest of the video is a Monkees Tribute show done for Showbiz Pizza Place back in the mid 80's. I believe it was on the Beatles White Album Show tape along with the Tribute to Frank Sinatra with Rolf and Earl which is probably one of the funniest Rolf skits I've seen. Anyway- I'm sure that it came from there. There is a show that mentions this one on the tape entitled " Don't Hang Up"
I know. The original RAE Monkees Theme was done in the 80s, but the tribute to Davy was done in 2012, since this video was uploaded the day after Davy died in February.
Thank you Aaron for this Great back in time from the White Album showtape... When did you make this Show tape? Was it 84 or 85? Hey I was watching the Video how come the Sun & Moon did not pop up? there Spot was on....
I'm pretty sure all these songs were programmed for showbiz. The only part that was specially programmed for this video was the intro. BTW Shalisa has such an amazing voice!!!
Not Aaron, Davy Jones! And this show was not made that a few days before filming, it was programmed on another showtape a few years ago! He didn't make it in 2012 more like 1990's
@fanprograms Hey, since I can't message you direct, I'll have to ask here. This is a long shot, but, is there any way that one of these whole bands can still be purchased? I'm serious, this isn't a joke, and it is a long story why I'm asking this. It would be better if I could message you direct.
if you look it up there is a video posted on youtube labeled shakira hips dont lie sung by the rock-afire explosion... could it be lipsyncing from another video from the 80s?
Oh my God.. after the first few seconds of hearing Billy Bob's voice, I was taken back to my childhood and the smell of the pizza and the noise of the video games and other children.. WOW. what a great flashback... Thank you for that!
Davy Jones is smiling up in heaven right now, good work!
This is such a touching tribute to Davy Jones. I made my own tribute to Davy from actual concert footage that I filmed myself during the 45th Anniversary Tour of The Monkees.
Two of my childhood favorites, Rock-afire Explosion and The Monkees. Bless you heart for this video!!!!!
So Awesome. Thanks Aaron! Two childhood memories together because the Monkees show was being syndicated in daytime TV around the mid Eighties.

Great job! I'd like this 10 times if I could.
UNBELIEVABLE! That was Awesome! I think that Davy Jones would be proud of that one!
These are so brilliantly maintained and programmed. They're exceptionally lifelike, especially considering how few actuators they use.
And such a lovely tribute! :)
Such a tight show! I love the Monkees and Davy Jones so this video is a treat!

Aaron!
How did you do all this in such a short time?? I mean, all the singing and programming and video? You must have had no sleep for DAYS to get this ready! You're simply AMAZING!!!!!
Actually, he only programmed the intro, the Monkees Medley is from a show from when Showbiz was open
Nice programming Aaron!
That is, Davy might be physically gone, but he lives through his music.
A very sweet Tribute! Makes me Hungry for pizza!

Did Fatz just get out of the shower and run on stage? lol
Nice tribute!
Well all that was new is the intro. The Monkees Tribute is actually from the Beatles White Album showtape in September 1983 for Showbiz Pizza Place.
Thank you Aaron for this Great back in time from the White Album showtape... When did you make this Show tape? Was it 84 or 85?
Hey I was watching the Video how come the Sun & Moon did not pop up? there Spot was on....
awesome!
"nacho stepping stone"
lol
Incredible
love it
My grandpa died one year and one day after Davy Jones died.
R.I.P. To your grandpa
I'm pretty sure all these songs were programmed for showbiz. The only part that was specially programmed for this video was the intro. BTW Shalisa has such an amazing voice!!!
I've heard the original introduction to this piece featuring Rolfe and Earl on Radio Showbiz, and definitely like Billy Bob's introduction far better.
this show was made in 1983 from one of his Show tapes...
This is uploaded the day after he died!
wow, that was fast!
their so cute

I agree, the "Monkees Melody" is AWESOME, but this is an old skit from the 80's. The only new part of this is the intro. :)
😭😭😭😭
He's not dead.
🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
Looney bird looks so sad at the beginning...
All he had to do was the intro the melody was from one of the shows he did for Showbiz Pizza Place in the 80's.
does Chris Thrash still have is set?
Calvin5040 no

No. Hips Don't Lie was released in 2006... Besides, that song isn't even in this video. What are you talking about?
my mom works with the monkees
OMG
Dylan Ritzen JODI!😂😂😂 lol she's awesome and so is the rock afire!
Beach bear should have sang stepping stone, in my opinion.
He sang Last train to Clarksville greatly.
I can see that but it's a rock n roll song and Rolf had that kind of voice
k
ShowbizPizzaAndCec
Shadilay!!
even the Shakira "hips don't lie" song?
misty can sing good
saige
