Hey!! You ROCKED the music vid man!!! all of you guys!! Camera person, techi person, walkie people, bodies on the ground!! Total and complete awesomeness!! XD b-^-^-d whoo!! Go "The Faint" XD This song is one of my Favs!
@kihhn This was filmed the the architecture building at the University of New Mexico. The edges and different levels of the building kind of bleed into each other, making for a really cool atmosphere. Thanks for watching!
I don't know why people focus more on how "bizarre" this video is... I really like it and think it's cool. You guys did a great job and your amount of effort shows in this work of art. Way to make an already good song even better with a vid like this.
Great job with the editing - you managed to make it trippy without looking stilted, especially the backwards walking parts in the very beginning. Love the Faint, and this video made me smile!
Thanks so much for the kind words! If you have any questions about anything (as long as it's not interpretation; I learned the hard way I should keep that to myself so I don't have people kicking down my front door with torches and such), I'd be more than happy to answer them. Cheers!
I really liked this. So often I'm disappointed by fan-made videos. You have done a great job and should be acknowledged for it. I sat there trying to figure out what you did in editing and of course, as an artist, I like being bewildered by something, to want to know more about the video, and you've achieved that. I'm showing this to my family who I'm sure will share my opinion. From one artist to another, you inspire ME.
@enemypublico In response to what you said, this MV just seems to click with the song. Still just as great as I remember it back when you posted it years ago!
@analiese12 Well saying this song is crap is not right, because some people like it, thus making it not crap, you could say instead "i don't like this song, I think is crap for my tastes. And they didn't made the video, is fan made, and a very well done one.
@enemypublico i was checkin out the video bc i wanted to hear the song and i was like, wait I know that building! and then read your comment. small world man.
This is the most "2000's" music video ever and I love it
First thing I heard from this band. Damn good, Electric Dance Madness. So proud these guys are Middle-American neighbors from Omaha.
one of the most well timed fan vids i've seen for the faint, nice.
Woohoo I love this!!! Makes me want to walk really slow and imagine everything is in Fast forward around me.
Most excellent! Once again, you prove yourself more apt than most music video creators out there! 5/5

I really, really like this video. You guys did a great job, very entertaining.
i think this song is good. its unique and different from most other songs i hear, tho i do like techno/trance songs a lot.
the original for A Cause Des Garcons was released in the mid 80's, I believe, and then covered by Yelle in 2007.
i really don't like techmo but this band does it to me every time keep on raving
Very Creative!
Love the song + Cool video = 5 Stars XD

The Brutalist architecture of the university I assume you shot this on really added an element of environment. Where'd you film it?
Outstanding Guys! Go Omaha Music!

WOW! I just gotta say this vid came out awesome. the effects were insane. you def bypass the amateur status. Great job!
That would explain the randomness and different-good-variety of angled shots.

Thanks for the kind words. It's actually an architecture education building, so at the very least we know they're good at what they study.

And they didn't made the video, is fan made, and a very well done one.
It was shot with a Sony HDV-FX1 camera, and I used Final Cut Pro on an iMac for editing.
@enemypublico i was checkin out the video bc i wanted to hear the song and i was like, wait I know that building! and then read your comment. small world man.
Thank you. I really do like making music videos, so hopefully it's in my future.
Better than the Paul Oakenfold remix.
@analiese12 To be fair to The Faint, the boring music video is my fault. Sorry :)
I'm a thinkin' you need an epilepsy warning at the beginning of the video, or at least in the description. My eyes hurt now.
